@ I honestly think that the movie takes place in 1968 sometime after Oliver arrived, Diesel 10 might’ve been sent to Sodor to not just destroy Lady but to find Oliver and scrap him (D10 arrived in 1963 and he was sent away in 1965 after being a bad bully to the other engines and replaced by Boco that same year, he hated Sodor and wanted to take over the entire railway and have the steam engines be replaced and scrapped by diesels) when he escaped in 1967, it’s a bit different compared to the original
