Sofía Núñez Mandell:Can faith and knowledge work together? Edith Stein’s approach to the controversy

Sofía Núñez Mandell, Maynooth University (Ireland)
She is currently studying Philosophy of Religion at Maynooth University. She is writing her master's thesis on Edith Stein's thoughts on gender, socio-political roles and her theory of women under the guidance of Dr. Mette Lebech. She expects to graduate in November 2023 and plans to apply next year for a doctoral (PhD) position. My interests in Stein’s philosophy are wide-ranging. To mention a few: her proposal to build a ‘Christian philosophy’ based on the reconciliation of reason and faith, her philosophical anthropology, and theological and mystical writings. Since February of this year, she has been working with the ESRG (Edith Stein Reading Group) in Dublin with lectures on Stein's knowledge and faith.
