Brad-glad you’re getting back into the swing of putting out tutorial/review videos. I’m still using my Harmony Elite for my theater but picked up one of these for my family room with tv and multiple source devices. Works well and easy to set up. Two main complaints: 1. Doesn’t work well with smart devices like lights. I had to cobble something together using Home Assistant and an “emulated Roku” to get the X1S to turn my smart switches on and off. Works well but it was a lot of effort. 2. Battery life is not what is advertised. Says 45 days - mine lasts about a few days to a week on average with light use. Contacted support and they said the 45 days they advertise is basically without any usage (standby) and 1-2 weeks is expected. They suggested disabling the wake on lift feature which I didn’t really want to do. Other than that it’s finally a solid replacement for the Harmony.

I agree, I really enjoyed the REW/MiniDSP Series and would have loved to see the/an updated version of that regarding Audyssey EVO with MSO also comparing it to DIRAC live multisub (on the Denon) with REW measurements @HomeTheaterGamer

I have the X1 that is still in box until Harmony dies. Hope it has updates to get it to the s model functions which seemed to go well

Give it time and tweak to get everything exactly how you want it. Play with the delay times as well so that things turn off and on, input switching has time to switch, ect. Also, it has to run on the 2.4Ghz band of your wifi.

I want to love mine I do, but the circle button that's used for almost everything squeaks like no tomorrow. And the battery life is nowhere near as advertised. We need a touch screen, and better build quality, but function wise i honestly can't complain. Super easy to configure.

Batteries should be charged at the factory. Modern rechargeables don't like sitting at 100% or 0% for an extended period. It drives me crazy when new devices show up at my house at zero charge.
