How big were the boxes? How were instructions?

I didn't measure the boxes, but they were pretty large to me. I'd say they're almost 6 feet tall and 2 feet wide. The instructions were a bit vague on which parts were which, but nothing too hard to figure out.

How was the quality and comfort of the sofa?

Quality is not bad. It's still intact after 7 months. Butt dents are very noticeable, but they go away after a certain amount of time... that is until the next time you sit. Fluffing the cushions and pillows helps too. Comfort is not too bad either. It's not THE best, but I think it's worth the value.
