3:11 actually in the episode titled Hexley Hall, after their journey to Avalor didn’t Sofia tell Cedric (while princess Elena was trapped inside of it SHE! gave Sofia a power whenever she felt she did a good deed) and he said since she was released Sofia was now in control of the powers🤔 I mean Elena was said to have granted lots of princesses powers (like Charlotte & even Tilly) and curses (like Amber and Cedric🙄) I don’t think it has a "mind of it’s own" exactly, I think it’s more of a AI type deal 🧐
