Hi friends! I am excited to review in this video some new products from Dior for summer 2024. I will be reviewing and swatching the new Dior Backstage 003 Warm Essentials Eyeshadow palette. We will create two looks with this Dior makeup eyeshadow palette while also testing out some other new Dior makeup. I will be reviewing the Dior Backstage Rosy Glow Blush in the new shade, bronzed glow, in addition to the Dior Addict Lip Maximizer also in the new Bronzed Glow shade. Sofia, this new palette is part of the Backstage Eye Palettes new reformulation of their regular line. The original palettes were as follows: 001 Universal Neutrals (aka Custom Palette) 001 Warm Neutrals 002 Cool Neutrals 003 Amber Neutrals 004 Rosewood Neutrals Since the reformulations, the original colour stories were not returned and Dior has created new ones instead.The reformulated Backstage Eye Palettes are now: 001 Nude Essentials 002 Smokey Essentials (replacing Cool Neutrals) 003 Warm Essentials (replacing Amber Neutrals) Rosewood Neutrals (004) will be the next palette culled and won't be seen again either, just like the originals that were so much nicer. I own every single Backstage Eye Palette to be released, both from the regular line and Limited Editions. The only reformulated palette that I've liked the look of is Smokey Essentials. I've now stopped collecting these as all Dior is doing is adding together existing shades to create very similar looking palettes. We don't even get a primer anymore. If you like these shades, Coral Neutrals came out as a Limited Edition release and you might be able to still get that if lucky. The original colour stories were beautiful and quite different from each other, where these reformulated versions are simply boring in my opinion when compared to the original colour stories. Hope this has clarified the situation for you. 🇦🇺💖👩🏼‍🎨

I love the dior blushes! I like the nars and valentino powder ones more in formula but the dior ones look so unique on my skin. I have pink lilac, rosewood and bronze glow! Pink lilac and rosewood I use with a denser harsher brush and bronze glow I use with a large super soft fluffy brush! I get crazy compliments every time I wear bronze glow. I dust it on me and BAM instant bronzy look. As my husband would say😂

Thanks for the demo! Been curious about the pallette. Everyone has been hyping up the coral and lilac but I've been loving the bronze glow releases! Makes me look like I've been in the sun in the most natural way! I do need to be really careful with the blush like you said though 😊

Hello Sofia I am sorry but this thing now with the “clean makeup” In my years of painting I learned that “ the enemy of good is better “. I don’t mind the talc. Now shadows are more difficult to blend and they are powdery. I do love the looks you created Will I get the blush. Probably not. 😊😊😊

I love and look best in warmer tones. I don't really NEED this, as I own a lot of warm pallets. But, I LOVE the Backstage ones so much. They are so so easy to use and travel with so...I got it. And now that I see the lip maximizer color I think I'll get that too. Like you said, I thought it would be more of what I already have from Dior but it looks great for summer.☀

never tried the blushes, i did like mahogany when they re-released but it got such poor reviews/ even with a light hand on lighter skin did not look workable and was patchy. I was hoping i like bronzed glow as well and was going to wait for a sale but the formula look so stampy and i have no patience for that lol. I saw another review a while ago on someone with slightly tanner skintone and still applied not great. Vieve piazza is my winner for this, i use the SG soft blush brush or the older WG air brush with no issues. i do like the gloss though its probably a bit more pigmented than i'd go for , not that i need to be buying more lippies ha.

The Dior pallet is definitely not for me at all but I did get the bronze blush and I love that. I wish they did a lilac backstage pallet kinda like the silver essentials pallet I missed out on .

Sofia! This palette had not been on my radar but your looks might have changed my mind! 2 quick questions: 1. Could the blush actually be used as a bronzer? And 2. How does the palette compare to the TF Golden Hour and/or Honeymoon palettes I.e., could you get the same tones/looks?

I am not sure I would use the blush as a bronzer because it turns pink from the red 27 dye. I don't think I would put it all over my cheeks and forehead. I don't think you will get the same looks from the Tom Ford palettes

Hi Sofia, In my opinion in the luxury makeup Dior and Chanel have the worst formula for blushes. Why bother to struggle with application when we have so many great options: Gucci, Armani, Tom Ford, Hermes, Sisley to name a few. I don’t like warm tones and this pallet is kind of reddish orange tones and again a bit dry and sheer plus a short lifespan. The lip maximizer is ok but too dark for me. Everything is a hard pass for me. I hope you will review the Chantecaille blushes. Thanks for sharing!🙂

@@SofiaSeesBeauty It’s ok! Not everything is for me!😁 And most of the Dior products for sure not. Chanel has nice shades for blushes but the formula is not good quality. I am talking about the permanent line. Of course, this is my opinion and from what I noticed many people think the same like me, including influencers who love Chanel like Allfeisty, French for a day, Allison Chase, Everyday Edit. Some of the limited edition blushes are ok, for sure better than the permanent line but they come and go. Anyway, we are all different and everyone has personal preferences.🙂

I love the eye palette but the rest of the collection isn’t that compelling. This is surprisingly versatile. It seems able to go very light but have enough pigment for darker skin tones. The texture seems really solid too. Thank you Sofia. You look gorgeous ❤

The new palette looks like a mix of the old Amber and Coral palettes. It's a bit odd the renewed palettes are all limited. Not a good move to replace your permanent palettes like that
