Got the pro, i hope the next IF variant will be a Spot beam also have the SP35T, still a flood... and that why i also carry my old nitecore p12 for spot. Overall the if24 pro is awesome

I'd buy the IF24 Pro for its warmer tint, added throw distance and the buck driver but I'm sticking with my brighter IF23 for the time being. But if the IF24 Pro had Anduril 2.0 I'd place an order right away! What's confusing is whether Sofirn has decided on the "Pro" or the "S" suffix - some people had mentioned that they're both the same flashlight.
@DarrenYeoYT5 ай бұрын
Initially they chose the S suffix but think they will go with the Pro with future models.

@@DarrenYeoYT I wish Sofirn would stick to a common nomenclature for uniformity across their models! AFAIK, for Sofirn a "Pro" model has additional features like Anduril 2.0 while for Wurkkos, "S" stands for Simple UI. Sofirn also has the Q8 Pro and the Q8 Plus, which confused the heck out of me since both have Anduril. IMHO, if Sofirn wants to plaster the "Pro" moniker on the IF24 it should have Anduril! 😀

Interesting observation and I think you're right for them to keeps things consistent @@StratmanII

Prefer the Pro for sure. Buck driver and SFT40 worth it, increased range an extra bonus.

I can't wait to get my hands on Sofirn's soon to be released IF23 Pro. It looks like a huge improvement over the standard IF23.
@DarrenYeoYTАй бұрын
For sure. I don't think it's much larger than the IF24 Pro either. I might get a chance to review it later next month.

The pro for sure. I don’t like when flashlights dim to the point of not giving me any usable light. Besides, color accuracy is better with a light hue that is more natural.
@DarrenYeoYTАй бұрын
Yeah, it's annoying and a sign of corners being cut. But it OK for people who don't mind and have value in mind

I got 24, is good, all in 1

If I didn’t already have the regular then the pro would be a no brainer

It's glass... Surprisingly.

And stick a bead tir lens in and find that it becomes your goto

d-c-fix would work
@Yudi.Hilmawan5 ай бұрын
@@stephenathonTIR lenses will have higher light transmission than dcfix so TIR lenses are still a better solution, especially since you can choose various angles of TIR lenses, if I'm not mistaken, Convoy provides beaded TIR lenses ranging from 10° to 60° for 5050 led.
@stephenathon5 ай бұрын
@@Yudi.Hilmawan Worth testing to find a suitable TIR replacement then. Cinegel #3020 would also be a smooth fix. Have my IF24 Pro on the way to take a look.
@ks-hg5vo5 ай бұрын
@@stephenathon to be honest dc fix is easily swappable. But didnt have any but did have a tir from and old convoy s2+ at 45 degrees I just found the rings annoying on the original tir and the hot spot was too focused for general use. For me anyway.
@stephenathon5 ай бұрын
@@ks-hg5vo Glad to hear you found a TIR that worked. It must be a standard size.
