there isn't really much editing going on here, the video was shot using Stop Motion or Time Lapse technique, the photographs taken were pieced together to make the video - that's all the editing really. There's a tiny bit of work in After Effects or a similar software near the beginning when actual video was shot of the guy walking in but most of it is very simple stop motion/ time lapse work. I'm sure Selina will correct me if I'm wrong =)
@verified333011 жыл бұрын
Great editing and video. Video got abit boring towards the end, would have been good to see some characters or animations between the pieces. I sit on the fence with Sofles as I believe if you take away all the effects and multiple layers of colour (in his more newer stuff), you are left with a pretty basic and whack design. Graffiti in this new age seems to be like this, people hiding their lack of lettering and flow behind fancy effects and over use of colour.

Amazing video...but whad tha f.He's painting many and really BIG walls using pretty much in all of them strictly fatcaps.Respect for sofles skills but as a writer since 2005 I'd rather give my props to writers who cant paint everyday in big ass walls with infinite cans but still keep breathin fire to these walls.Big up for sofles' stylez ofc....he has taken the game to a whole another level and it's more than rightfull to have as many cans as he chooses to.
@KillZilleR11 жыл бұрын
Did you see at the end where it says, music by Bassnectar. Maybe if you really try and think about it, that might give you a clue as to who the music is by. Then if you listened to the song you could if you really really tried, figure out that it says 'infinite' a fair few times. I hope my clues have helped...

All I can think about is that somewhere in the world there is a warehouse that I need to find, buy and then have shipped home brick-by-brick so I can reconstruct these where I can appreciate them. Sofles I have an original piece by you which comes with sneakers (yellow / Brisbane) - if you're ever in Sydney dude hit me up!
@TheJaku.11 жыл бұрын
its more down to what yards you can access and how good you are with a fat cap and how you deal with pressure when it comes to trains now days because transports in demand.......so they move quicker and dont stay still for to long and more eyes watch what happens to them
@LosTravelleros11 жыл бұрын
Yep, I understand that (hyperlapse = timelapse&movement), but how did you move the camera? I don't notice any camera shaking (not a walk lapse on tripod) and seems that floor is too dirty for a dolly. Dolly on rails? Or did you eliminate shaking in edit by cropping pictures?
@ehbeesee222911 жыл бұрын
Maybe because your views on art needs to have message in order for it to function?Hence, you dont see the beauty in Writing? And what tags? He only did a few. Majority of the content of the video are his masterpieces. Art encompass alot of things. This is one of them.
@ehbeesee222911 жыл бұрын
It wouldnt be call Graffiti Writings in the first place if he were to do something else. Plus art is really subjective and you have your own opinion. Not all art are meant to be beautiful or carries any messages. Some do it because they enjoy it.
