I did actually try something like that, if you want more control over your blocks you can definitely hand animate with Mix Animation, but I I found this method to look a bit more random and interesting

great tutorial but it would have been great if you briefly went into texturing. When I try to add RD materials, the UV of it becomes all wonky, some parts of the object are textured and some parts have these weird lines.

When you make the mesh editable you can easily UV unwarp the parts, auto unwrapping should do the job nicely.

There is no tool called 'collider tag' that looks like cubes. When I type in Collide, a tool that looks like a clothes hanger comes out and when I attach it, my tetris cubes don't stay in my container, what should I do?

Hey there, this tutorial uses the new Cloth simulation system in C4D 2023 and above, if you dont see the tag you may need to update your version of the software.

Try decreasing the thickness in dynamics or increasing the substeps and iterations or even the collision passes

It can be a bit tricky to get them to settle in the correct spot, trial and error. If your Gaps are too big try decreasing the Thickness in the Cloth Tag so they can get a bit closer to eachother

You can help it along using MIX ANIMATION as well in the Cloth tag if you're struggling
