Amy you definitely know what other groomer’s to put on your channel!! I absolutely love her!! I would adore to see her do a standard poodle! 🐩 Everyone has their own technique of grooming but she is so particular in her scissoring to the point it’s memorizing!!

Thank you for this video! FINALLY a video that specifically addresses the soft coated wheaten terrier! I have two beautiful white and and I want to be able to groom them in a show style. No groomer in my area knows how to do a wheaten. I have a a full set up at home, with all the tools and even the professional dog grooming books, but they don’t explain ANYTHING as valuable as what you showed in this video. Looking forward to more videos!

Thank you!!!! I have a retired champion Wheaten that I've tried to keep in show coat. Even the breed parent club doesn't tell nor show how to properly groom a Wheaten. This video has been most helpful. Thank you millions!! (My dog has looked good but now he can look GREAT!!)

This is not the average haircut for an average owner of a Wheaton Terrier. This haircut is awesome.

Great job editing the video Amy. Suzanne Grande is amazing to watch when she does those detailed grooms as well as just pet trims. I love watching her KZbin channel. I had the pleasure of watching Maui's groom live when it was being done.

Thank you so much for this amazing video. I, too, have a retired Champion but am doing it myself now. I'll be watching this over and over to make myself better. Although he did beautifully for the handler, he doesn't stay still for me. (I've heard that before)

Excellent instructions! I’m still apprehensive, even though I have a hairdresser’s license. I don’t think my dog would hold still for me. I am in desperate need of an experienced Wheaten groomer!

Most interesting video! I can't have pets, due to asthma/allergies, so I know nothing about grooming. You did a beautiful job, I mean wow! Pardon my ignorance, but why is his hair not clipped neatly out of his eyes and face? Doesn't it get in his eyes and food?

It is a breed standard trim

They're hard to keep clean. The beard gets crunchy and needs to be washed. They also need to be brushed and combed almost everyday. I don't have time for all that as I own two. I do groom them differently because I want to be able to tell them apart lol

Would the groom be different for a wheaten with the Irish type coat. As the Irish coat is finer

That dog is perfect. Mine a acts like a Tasmanian Devil lit on fire when touching legs, feet, ears, butt, belly, stomach, chest, face, back, and.....I'm just kidding. But wow.

Your work is great no doubt but I appreciate simpler cutting not so demanding just to make our friends relieved. I do not thing they like staying still for so long. Everything else is for our eyes only and not for them . I do not think they care how they look.

"I want it to look natural..." Okay, nothing about this dog looks natural. If you spend that much time shaping the dog into something he isn't, then it's not what a Wheaten is truly like. If anything, a fluffy puppy cut and curls WITHOUT that ridiculous forelock. The AKC standard looks weird...and is weird. How can it be the standard when it looks nothing like the natural dog? And WHY do you keep pushing his tail up so far? They don't normally stand like that unless on alert. 🙄

Has anyone ever told you that you are rude? I'd pay top dollar for this lady to do my Wheaten. She's gifted.
