Soft Cut Crease Tutorial // PAINTEDBYSPENCER

Hi everyone! Today, I’ve created this soft cut crease on our beautiful model, Zoey Carter (IG: @zoeycarterr). This soft cut crease style is a great technique to try out for someone with hooded eyes, or little eyelid space, who wants to create the illusion of more lid space! The KING of blending.......I’m so amazed at how all these different shades (foundation, contour, concealer, blush, powders) blend into something so diffused, sculpted and still natural looking. And please, NEVER change that background music ;-)

Finally someone with a similar undertone / complexion! I’ve always wanted to try the ABH foundation, but I was stuck between 2-3 shades. Being West Indian with Olive/Yellow undertones is so tricky sometimes!

I’m much lighter than the model, I’m actually pretty fair light, but I’m Cherokee and have a pretty olive undertone and I agree it is soo hard to find foundations with the exact undertone we need. Olive skin is beautiful! I would love to see more foundation brands include olive shades. Check out Urban Decay’s naked skin foundation too. The shade 30cg is a great match for me, granted I’m pretty fair but they have several in the CG (cool green) line that lean olive because of the green undertone. ❤️

@@brittanysmith2417 Im not sure what my undertone is and have tried few drug store brands. Im South East Asian and Im pretty sure shade 230 Fit Me Maybelline (natural Buff) is my best one. Im medium toned. Idk tho 😂 I also didnt get my hands on that ABH shade it was sold out lool

Ooh YES, I love red cream blush and I’m FAIR. Flashback Mary is just how I photograph, wether I’m wearing makeup or not, and whether I’m using flash or not. But red always looks the most natural, which isn’t what most would think. And I loved that soft cut crease look, one of my faves. And like you said very easy to change up with different colors.
