hi!
I've made a little compilation of various instrumental/classical songs from the barbie movies. I made this as I loveee listening to soft music like this when I'm studying, but its also perfect to just relax to during these hard times. I hope it brings you some nostalgia & comfort ❤️
songs included:
0:00 barbie and the 12 dancing princesses : opening song
1:33 barbie princess and the pauper : written in your heart
3:38 barbie princess and the pauper : if you love me for me
5:38 barbie rapunzel : theme song
9:46 barbie swan lake : opening song ( tchaikovsky no.9 "flight of the swans" )
11:14 barbie nutcracker : end dance scene ( tchaikovsky no.14 "pas de deux/dance of the sugar-plum fairies" )
14:23 barbie and the magic of pegasus : opening song ( beethoven symphony no. 6 in f major, op. 68 "pastoral" )
16:31 barbie mermaidia : opening song
enjoy ❤️

hello, I have somewhat left this channel to wither in the corner as of late as I've been so busy studying for exams! but I just returned to it and thought why not listen to my own playlists whilst studying... only to see that this video has reached 1 million views. absolutely insane. even though these obviously aren't my songs, it makes me so happy that im able to enact feelings of nostalgia out of so many people! barbie has always been so prominent in my life so its amazing to see so many people in the comments bonding together over her, too :') love you all so much

TOTALLY! These movies are very beautiful and teach children to be natural, helpful and good person. I was growing up in 2000's watching all these Barbie movies and I think it was one of the main factors thanks to which I became the person I am today- compassionate and kind. Barbie movies are MUST HAVE for all the next generations. No matter whether you were born around 2000, 2010 or 2020.

I believe Barbie movies taught me how to be kind and gentle. How to have compassion, how just a simple act of kindness can change a person's whole view on life. I am sorry for the newer generation that they will never learn the lessons our generation learned from simple things like barbie movies. We learned lessons through stories and movies that many have to learn through experience. We definitely had a leg up with them.

pov: it's 2008 and today was your birthday, you had the most magical day! You wore a beautiful pink dress that made you feel like a princess, and a sparkly tiara to go along with it. You played with your friends, in a gorgeous fairy garden where you had your party. Dancing through the blossoms and pretending to be your favourite barbie character. When you're all sitting down, the fairy your parents hired for the party brings you your cake and asks you to make a special birthday wish. You wish that you could waltz off into a magical world and go on an adventure, befriend a funny animal and fall in love with a handsome prince. She smiles as you blow out the candles. That night, when your parents have tucked you into bed and turned out the light you're tossing and turning and can't get to sleep. Suddenly, softly, in the distance you hear the theme from the twelve dancing princesses begin to play. You get out of bed in wonder, where is that music coming from? Breath taken by its beauty, you begin to dance...

Here's what's different about the old Barbie movies: Next to the more human, yet still doll-like design and graphics, they feel like feelings were actually put into them. It feels like they weren't made just to grab some cash and sell some dolls. They feel like someone actually did put their heart into them. The new ones lack that, they lack that kind of soul.

@@pitinha I think they're talking about the proportion. The older movies use a more conventional, more to real life proportion than the newer ones. I remember the first time I watched The 12 princesses and how happy they look while dancing, that's when I asked my mom if I could attend ballet classes, fortunately she said yes and damn, I was happy but it was hard and while growing up I started to think that maybe this is not for me so I gave up. Ofc I regretted and realized (too late) that it wasn't about how good or bad I was, I wanted to dance because I felt happy :') But now, as long as you feel happy you don't need to worry about if you are good or bad, just keep going, you will get better ;)
