How long does it usually take you to finish a portrait? This is beautiful! Thank you for sharing! And do you use pastelmat?

Depends on the size but usually a few hours if doing it on my own time. If with a model than I'll speed it up of course. No, I don't use pastelmat. I've actually never used a pastel paper before because they are too textured for me.

Yes these are chalk pastels. Soft pastels are chalk pastels. They are not oil pastels.
