Great video! I didn't know chlorine can have all those effects on people even in low doses. I'm always learning something interesting with you! 👍😀 I'm really thankful to live at a place that is in the country on a well now, instead of the city water, which was so chlorinated it reeked like a public pool coming out of the tap. Michigan well water is liquid rock, but I much prefer it!

Taras tank friends. Where abouts in Michigan? I have friends out there...ahh I’d love to live in the country! It’s crazy they put chlorine in our water, it’s 2020 we don’t have better technologies like uv sterilization or something not deadly...and really who wants to drink smelly water? I suggest one of those shower heads if you have hard water they are not expensive and last a while before changing filter...stay safe and much love 💕

@@VinnysAquatics hi Vinny, I live in Scotts, a little south-east of Kalamazoo/Portage. You're totally right that we have the technology to use other methods to sterilize tap water that are far better than a poison. Unfortunately I think it all comes down to money-- chlorine and chloramine are cheaper than the city investing in new infrastructure for uv sterilization, like you mentioned. For example, the Flint water crisis-- the city knew all those pipes were lead and that the aquifer was too acidic, but they didn't want to invest the money to change it until it ruined tons of lives and became national news. A shower head filter is not a bad idea. We do periodically take the shower heads off and clean them with vinegar, but we also have a whole-house water filtration unit. You stay safe and take care, too! 👍🙂❤
