Love the build love all the green coordinates in your trailer. I have just started pressure washing this year and the only thing I am missing on my set up is the valves so I can stop batch mixing. I love your set up bcuz it’s simple just like mine and shows we don’t need a full skid to get out there and start the wheels moving.

Great info. I’m looking for something to get into when I retire next year. I’m thinking about a general outside maintenance business, basic lawn care and pressure washing. I’m in a fairly small town, there’s lots of lawn care guys here, most of them are one man operations, but not reliable. There is no one I know of pressure washing here. There are a bunch of small towns like mine within 50 miles of me, I could market in those towns for pressure washing profitably, but wouldn’t go out of town for mowing unless it was a big job or I had a bunch in the same town. The more I look at pressure washing, the more it appeals to me over mowing. I could start today (very small jobs) with my little Homelite 2.3 gph washer, and pump sprayer. Not ideal for anything more that cleaning siding on a single story house, but every penny I made initially would go right back into the business.

Yew!! Atta boy Kurt! I live in Florida and have been an aspiring pressure washer for a couple years. I wash on the side as much as I can with a 2.5 gpm machine, whenever I'm not working construction. Man, the proportioner is the one thing my rig needs! I have a 6x8 trailer with a 5.5gpm pw, surface cleaner, a few tanks, reels, and a soft wash system. I’m currently batch mixing. I live in southwest Louisiana and I’m hoping to transition out of my current wage slave job and do washing full time. I have a few commercial contracts and I enjoy watching and learning from guys like you for inspiration. I started building my setup last year in Texas using a van, but had some health issues and decided to move me and my son closer to family in La. I sold my van, but kept my equipment. I bought my trailer earlier this year and started rebuilding. I feel like I’m just really getting rolling and can’t wait for what the future has in store.
