Everyone forgets to clean their helmet and their riding gear until it's time to ride lol That reminds me I need to give my mud-covered boots some love XD

Good info, Tony. Changing oil every season isn't a bad idea at all. I have issues here with the schizo weather of the winter months that causes condensation to collect in the motor and primary. Always a good idea to be mindful of that.

I have the same problem here cold, warm, cold condensation is always a problem. Thanks for watching Tramp. Need to get involved in your next livestream. They look like a good time.

Good point on tire pressure, that’s one I always seem to overlook. I do a three hole every spring so my baby has all that freshness for the new season.

You definitely can’t go wrong with that schedule. Thanks for watching ride safe.

Tony great points. I would be in trouble if I only changed fluids once a year. In Colorado don't have to put the bike up for the winter. I agree change it yearly or every 5K.

I ether change it right at the end of one season or beginning of another. But I got a older carb Sportster. I only do about 1k miles a season. This year I hope to double it.

Tony I hope things are going well for you. Don’t be so hard on yourself. This is good content for all to see. Good for new riders as well as older riders. I took my Hammer up to northern Illinois and traded it for a 2012 Victory Kingpin with 11k on it. It will be much more comfortable than the Hammer that I had. Then in 18 months I should be able to save up. Enough to buy a 19 or 20 street glide. I should have bought a Glide instead of the new 18 Fatboy. Once it warms up will ride.

Sounds good Marty! Remember MMM is in Louisville this year it’s gonna be a lot of fun. Weather seems to be breaking, now we just need to get this rain outa here!

The great oil debate of 2020! I’m an oil change every season at a minimum depending on the miles might be more.
@TonysGarage4 жыл бұрын
There is no winning that debate for sure🤣😂. I wish I worried about my cars oil as much as my bike.

Great vid,simple tips that are extremely helpful, I would add double checking your belt, just to make sure it does not any cracks. Question Tony, how often do you replace your helmet?
@TonysGarage4 жыл бұрын
What’s up Walter? I usually replace my helmet every couple of years. Unless it takes a hard drop or fall then I replace sooner. Thanks for watching dude!

Hey Tony. Wassup? Do u start it up in the winter? Or is it not necessary?
@TonysGarage4 жыл бұрын
I keep it on a battery tender so it really isn’t necessary but it does hurt to start it every now and then to circulate the fluids.
