I remember watching you in tv when I was a kid. Now I’m 25 and you’re still doing your thing. Love it! Keep up the grind

I’m glad someone else likes eating Kahawai, it’s all about the prep isn’t it! In Australia it might taste different to NZL but I’ve always bled it well and prepare it while it’s still fresh, its not bad at all!

Totally agree, those that say Aussie salmon tastes shit don't know how to prep their fish.

What are your thoughts on the 1450? Are you going to have a video going over that boat like your others? I really enjoy them and thinking of getting a 1450 myself
@UltimateFishingTV4 жыл бұрын
They are an amazing boat, and the fishing ability is incredible. Yes we do have a review video in the pipeline, we just want to put the Stabicraft 1450 through its paces so we can give it a proper review.
@badrng17974 жыл бұрын
Are you able to do a quick walk through of the 1450? Interested in how you’ve set yours up
@UltimateFishingTV4 жыл бұрын
We plan on doing a review video, Matt is still putting the boat through its paces.

that little boat is sweet< by chance do you know if they sell them in the states?
@UltimateFishingTV4 жыл бұрын
I've heard there are a few Stabicraft dealers in the states. If you contact the guys at stabicraft.com/ they should be able to point you in the right direction.

Yep, you have to keep a hook sharpener around. None of my friends have one...they just use mine. hehe

I've been doing this kind of fishing land based here in Australia, gotta say I don't think I have had as much fun doing it. I've posted a couple vids but nowhere near as well edited as Matt's 😅

Great footage and good fishing. What rod and reels are you guys using?
@UltimateFishingTV4 жыл бұрын
Matt was using a Shimano Twinpower on a Dailuna rod, Shaw was using a Shimano Ultegra on a Shadow X rod.
@jaydenpitt58783 жыл бұрын
What sort of braid would u recommend for the twin power?
@UltimateFishingTV3 жыл бұрын
Shimano Ocea8 is what Matt use's on his Twin Power.
@jaydenpitt58783 жыл бұрын
@@UltimateFishingTV what lb would ya recommend, I’m terrible at choosing
@UltimateFishingTV3 жыл бұрын
Depends on the size of the reel, With a Shimano Twinpower 3000 or 4000 we'd use pe1.5 or pe2, where as with the 10000 we would use at least pe6.
