Pretty good song for the middle of the night! :) I can hear this playing on the piano in every single one of the churches I grew up in and even into my adult life. More than that, I can hear it playing in my childhood friend’s home. Being practiced for Sunday Service. I am ready for Jesus to take us home. Are you? Lovely. Thank you. I play on my mother's 1950s Cable-Nelson piano. It has a beautiful tone. Mine now, the piano is in like new condition. She cared for it so wonderfully. Some on my best childhood memories are of my mother playing and singing. She played superbly and had a lovely, rich voice. Wonderful memories! BTW.....I love this hymn. God bless. ✝️🙏✝️
