What did you use for insulation on the softopper? I may try that. I have a 6ft bed Colorado and use the same setup you have. I have 12V blanket that keeps my really toasty at night, I use a $200 600W power station that powers the blanket and kettle for that first cup of coffee. Liked the video, subbed.

At that point it seems like the heater is a waste if you got the sleeping bag. especially since because of carbon monoxide you'd have to ventilate the soft top which will lose more heat.
