I read the skull and co would Fit in an slim tomtoc case with the lowest profile grip…. I am Really into the idea now 🤔 I think it could fit. I just saw this Zelda edition and I want it for my also Zelda switch. People usually wonder why I only bought Zelda theme accessories for my consoles… I am glad others like Zelda accessories insanely as well 😂❤

you dont want the joy sticks facing down cause you can damage your sticks that way in the case. also just take off the grips if you want to use your new zelda case. the grips slide on and off anyway so just put those in your backpack. chances are your going to put the thing in your backpack anyway. Also cant believe you got yours already. mines still shipping out from china....

Satisfye also has a really cool Zelda themed grip for pre order now. Personally I think theirs is a lot cooler looking, but I ordered both that and the skull n co to compare how they feel, plus skill and co will come much sooner, in time for playing Zelda lol

Yeah, satisfye grip is definitely light years better than skull & co. Their grip doesn't compete, it has two many pieces like it doesn't know what it wants to be and it has that annoying latch that u have to use to hold your console together with the grip. That's a big no no! If u lose that thing. The grip becomes useless. The good thing is, it's cheaper than satisfye and they do come to your house quick. I do love that dpad attachment. I wonder how it works?

On whether the satisfye one is cooler well that's personal preference. But on other aspects skull and co is better. Satisfye you lose the use of the OLED switch stand. Also shipping to outside the US is super pricey, the overall cost can be up to 2-3x pricier than the skull and co one which seems to be widely available everywhere. Also from my experience on the 1st satisfye case the back grips which is some soft rubber, tends to become sticky and disintegrate after like almost 2 years. Since you can't replace the grips the whole thing becomes useless.

@@yongzhenkit6622 that’s good to know about the disintegration. Did you happen to leave it in the sun or anything that could cause that? I thought they were silicone or something, but I didn’t check. I just know the stoppers inside the grip to hold the switch are silicone

@@TheBlueGoldenHawk nah I always kept it in the satisfye case and in my house in an area not under the sun. However I think it's just the nature of that soft feel material, it always tends to disintegrate faster than harder ones. That + the fact it's built-in to the rest of the body means the whole thing can no longer be re-used.

I had that black BotW case, it was like a fake leather one and I had to throw it away a couple years ago while cleaning out my closet, because it just started peeling so badly. Seeing your BotW case made me realized how much I miss it, haha. Thanks for the review on this! I seen it, but wanted to see a review before I bought it. Looks pretty neat and I love the low profile of it. Still on the fence about it, but more so I’m dangling my legs over the fence to buy it now LOL.

I finally folded! Got a switch NOT just that! got all TOTK versions the Switch, case, controller, amiibo, BOTW and TOTK Limited Edition and these Skull and CO grips since I have average/bigger hands. Glad I actually waited till now to get one :D

i use the larger grip on the right and the trigger grip on the left to get the asymmetrical feature. very comfortable i would say. and cheaper than a satisfye

I saw this add on and was recommended it but I’m super careful to not scratch any of my limited edition versions so I was worried if it would cause any issues to the paint or anything else with the back paint for this? Really was worried before buying this one

I don't want to make any guarantees but I think it's pretty safe as long as you aren't taking it off and putting it on all the time. Having said that, I've been doing that and so far no scratches.

Do you think the adhesive used for the white button covers would ruin the actual letters on the buttons if you were to remove them later?

I actually saw a vid where they cut the buttons into layers to see if the letters were stickers or not. Fortunately, the letters are part of the button model

Great video and great stuff! Do you have a screen protector on your Zelda Switch? Personally, I don't think I'll be using any grips on my Zelda Switch just because I don't want it getting scratched up. Keep doing what you're doing :)

Still waiting for my Nitro Deck, but I suspect the feel of the Neo Grip will win out since it is more customizable. The Nitro Deck has other advantages, though.

I don't feel the weight difference. I think the Satisfye is slightly more comfortable but not nearly as versatile. I use both.

I just put cheap generic covers on the thumb sticks because they have the same swirly design. No stick swapping.

Thank you! I saw this and ordered it this week but was curious about a review. One question, how do the button covers and dpad fit on? Some kind of adhesive? I mostly just wanted the grip, the extras seemed a little fishy to me. 😂

Adhesive, yes. But they also include a rubber bit to put in the middle so it's harder to push all 4 directions at once. They work surprisingly well. But in the end I went with individual button covers.

The only thing good about skull 💀& co is their packaging. They have nice cases, accessories and packaging. Their customer service is excellent as well. Satisfye grip is just one simple piece and much much better than the skulls. Satisfye 10 💀 &co 8 I hate that latch that u have to use to hold your system in place. You can actually lose that, which will make your grip useless

Is your dock the OLED dock? I have a bunch of stuff attached to and around my OG dock and I can still make it work, though I do wonder if it is in fact possible to dock it smoothly. I need to investigate more.

They're easy to take off and reapply. They're basically held on with double-stick tape.
