This video helped me a lot. Thanks for the good tips. I have one question. As a foreginer(South Korea), I'll need a visa to work. In LinkedIn, it seems there is no option for visa support. Is it easy to get a visa for a frontend position?

Greetings Firstable thanks for the video it was really helpful Also i have a question are ios developers jobs are as big as backend jobs there and what do interviewers focus on the most in their interviews ??
@SoftwareDeveloperDiaries
@SoftwareDeveloperDiaries 3 жыл бұрын
Glad you liked it :) Yes, iOS developers are in demand as well, maybe a bit less than backend developers, but sometimes paid even more. There is nothing particular that comes to mind regarding interviews, just standard questions like everywhere else depending on the company.

In your experience do all of the jobs you’ve seen ask applicants to complete code assessments or take home work?
@SoftwareDeveloperDiaries
@SoftwareDeveloperDiaries 3 жыл бұрын
Yes it’s always either one of them. Live coding interviews are very popular too. Big companies do both tho, first a task you solve yourself, then a live coding interview at a later stage

I don’t have a degree in informatics or computer science but I’m also learning software developing as another added skill , would it also be possible for me to get good jobs in tech and the 45k you talked about as the lowest w can be earned in developing , is it on a monthly basis?
@SoftwareDeveloperDiaries
@SoftwareDeveloperDiaries 3 жыл бұрын
Generally speaking, you don’t need a degree to get a tech job. But it depends on your visa situation. Usually people outside of EU require a visa to be able to work and many tech people get a so called Blue Card for that. The thing is, you need a degree in a respective field to be eligible for that Blue Card. No, 45k EUR is per year.

I was wondering if it absolutely necessary to have a full Bachelors degree? What If i have the relevant experience currently working as a developer, and a college certification?
@SoftwareDeveloperDiaries
@SoftwareDeveloperDiaries 2 жыл бұрын
Depends on your citizenship. Some countries need a degree in order to be eligible for a work/residence permit first. Other countries like USA, Canada, Australia don’t need one, which means they can get hired right away. Most of the companies don’t really care about your degree.

How to find German companies which sponsers visa for non eu applicant?
@SoftwareDeveloperDiaries
@SoftwareDeveloperDiaries 3 жыл бұрын
They don’t specify that in the job postings, so it’s simply about applying and asking directly if they help with the Blue Card.

Bro I am a Teacher in Pakistan. I know only software installations and MS Office. Can I get German work permit...? Or need to learn software...? Plz suggest
@SoftwareDeveloperDiaries
@SoftwareDeveloperDiaries 3 жыл бұрын
The German work permit for non-EU citizens is called “Blue Card”, you can google it for more info. As far as I’m informed software installations and MS doesn’t qualify you as an engineer. Also you need a degree in the same area.
