Most people who are here on Job seekers Visa do get a job with immediate joining - which means you wont have an option rather than quit your existing job and relocate. Yes i understand its risky, and thats why I lay emphasis on coming here with adequate funds to sustain yourself up to 3 months or more. It's difficult to secure a job in Germany from India - specially now during Covid. Honestly - if you are skilful, getting a job here is easier than in India due lesser competition. Hope this helps 🙂

How long can we work in Germany as a Software Developer. I am a Sr.Software Developer in India having 12yrs of experience and I hope you know that once you cross 15+ yrs of experience in India, your opportunities gets reduced and chances are that companies do not want to have you with them as they have to pay you more and they start looking for freshers and replace experienced developers. Hi David, learning Java through some masterclass is considered academic experience. By experience, we generally mean industry level project experience which can be obtained by working in the industry either as a full time professional employee or an intern or freelance work with substantial experience behind your back. Unfortunately there is a huge difference between what you learn academically and what you apply in real life.

No you shouldn't give any more interviews if one company is processing your work permit. Once you signed the offer letter, in germany it is binding. Life of SDE 2-SDE-3 in India in FAANG or investment banks like GS, JP morgan seems more better when it comes to salary as cost of living is low and taxation is also comparatively low... After cutting all the expenses I think you will only be left with 12000 euros which is roughly 1000000 rupees... You can save much much more in India after living a good standard life and taxations... ONLY IF YOU ARE WORKING IN TECH GIANT

Money is not the only thing people relocate for. Your standard of life will increase drastically! They send you an offer letter by post. You have to sign and send it back. Then you will have to apply for your own visa. You can ask them for sponsoring your visa, which means you will be reimbursed the visa fees after your join.

Starting a career directly in Germany after completing your degree in India is very difficult. You need some sort of work experience in India. You should consider masters in Germany if you want to start your career in Germany. For the money part, it's around €70 for visa fees.

@RitwikBanerjee
@RitwikBanerjee 2 жыл бұрын
If you have sufficient savings, then yes. Otherwise no, since you will be required to pay upto 3 months of cold rent as your deposit and the first months rent plus your living expense for the month. Please see my cost of living in germany video to know how much that can be. All in all, your initial settling costs can be as high as €6-7K for the first month.
