ChatGPT makes me feel like learning to code specific languages will become outdated. Any thoughts on that? Do students continue to learn C++ C# Python etc or do we focus on algorithm development?

i still think you still need humans for a large amount of it. Unless the understanding for CHAT-GPT gets better then i can't see a normal person being able to use it for a complex projects. However, i am on board with most of your conclusions in this video

Yeah, humans will need to guide the AI for the most part. Right it's just at a really junior developer level.

For now, yes. But I expect it to be super smart in the future. If we allow it. Maybe the regulations will kick in and prevent that from happening.

@@kurdiez_en I don't think so as it don't predict future events. It just say something based on stored information and 80 percent it is wrong info. So we have to check everything. and again it just make work faster. It just say something, right or wrong. But for coding, it increases productivity very high yet failed for lengthy or complex codes. I worked on machines and I am.sure it can't replace complex machines. Real experiments. So it is not game changer. Google do the same thing in different way like get info very fast whatever we type. they respond fast as stored information is increasing on Internet.

@@DDFT-k30 100% agree with you on the current state of the AI. But as I mentioned in this video, technological revolution like the AI is not about giving values right now. It's about how fast it can grow and get better.
