Hi Jonny, I have a meta interview coming up for a DE position, is python technical coding interview for DE easier than that for SWE? I find python medium in leetcode still pretty hard unless I have solved the exact question before. Thanks for sharing valuable tips! I enjoyed your videos.

I just got rejected from Meta phone screen this weekend. The (de)pressing part is I don't know why I got rejected. Two weeks ago, I also flunked the Amazon - same experience. I am scheduled for a Google already & I have no idea what areas I can improve. I am in total loss here. I have already withdrawn my applications from Microsoft, JP Morgan, Walmart, Apple, etc. as the failures in these interviews left me very-very-confused. These guys should provide some feedback.

Have you tried getting a mock interview from some third party who can give you candid feedback? These large companies don’t really have any incentive to give proper feedback unfortunately

Are personal projects important when you have 2-3 YOE? Realistically, I don't have time to make projects after the work day and weekends are busy too

Its one of those thing that can only help if it is impressive enough, but I would not say that it is make or break. Usually you would try to push a side project if the core of your work is not substantial.

How did you get so good to solve Medium question in 10-15 mins? If possible make a video in long term, but will appreciate a response,

Oh that’s a good idea. Will add it to my back log. But a tldr is that most problems are rehashes of similar problems. If you solve enough of them you can pattern match
