Just faced this issue 1 hour ago while updating the touchscreen software in my 3008 Gt line.After waiting for over 1 hour I got impatient and decided to download the same firmware in a second USB stick. I removed the first USB stick from the car and restarted the car (the instructions on your screen warns against doing this😂). This fixed the issue and the firmware was updated succesfully. My issue might have been a corrupted USB drive

Our e-208 suffered the same a week or so back. Peugeot have just sent out a broadcast via the car's app so this suggests they might have put out a buggy software release. Complained to head office and managed to get it into the dealers despite being initially told end of April which was unreasonable. The issue has a detrimental effect on a lot of the cars systems. Glad to know you solved it - will try that route if it happens again.

I have this exact problem with my Citroen E-C4. I have a mac and followed the instructions but still nothing. My cars had the issue since 10th March and Citroen wont get me in until 13th April with my closest dealership able to help being 35 miles away as none of the local ones take electric cars...

Hi Guys. I had the same problem. I have a 3008 Gt line. I downloaded only the firmware and not the maps. Took me about half an hour as it is just over 2 gigs. Please do make sure you format your us accordingly and use a us 3. All the steps must be followed correctly. And happiness my screen was updated.

This also happened to my e-208 just randomly like it when I got into the car in the morning. No control over any of the systems connected to the touchscreen. Visited local Peugeot dealer and told 2 month wait for diagnostic. 2 months! Outrageous! Googled it nothing on there at the time other than 12v battery disconnect and touchscreen fuse did both no effect. Decided to update the touchscreen software via USB (hadn’t updated to the April 2022 one) this corrected the problem did the navigation as well. Then a few days later I see Peugeot app notification about the issue. So am now updating with the March 2023 touchscreen update and nav update! I have noticed that since doing the April 2022 update I have had intermittent blind spot and parking sensors fault popping up on dashboard! I’ll see if the March 2023 update corrects this otherwise it’s going into dealer

Hmmm. Just had the same issue with my 3008. went to dealer for advice and was told it would be a minimum charge of £53 plus VAT to make an initial investigation. After researching found out that all they would do is update the firmware as you have done. why cant they just be honest and tell you ?

Hi, great video and great information... I have a 2020 Vauxhall Crossland X with the display showing the same issue as your Peugeot did and after removing the display the head unit is actually a Peugeot/Citroen manufactured unit. Would it be possible to use your download on a Vauxhall? Any help would be appreciated, thank you

My son accidentally knocked usb out of the socket while updating. I gave up and turned off the engine but blue screen stayed on. Been out here for 90 mins waiting. Started car and stuck usb in again but screen not changed and progress bar hasnt moved for ages!! Any ideas?

Use the app - get the link via email. click on that and it downloads everything you need. Works well but download, flash USB and perform upgrade will take around 3 hours!

@JimRamsayJWR the problem I have is the app on computer will not download the firmware. Been like this for a week. I acquired the right software and put it on a fat 32 32gb pen but I don't know how to make the unit access and update. My unit turns on and goes to blue screen. Citroen can't even fix it.
