Worked for me too but I have one issue. The apple carplay and android auto won't work anymore. I'm trying to find a fix atm.

My e2008 2021 gt premium. Will not update maps from the usb stick. Tried all day long to fix it. Including using 2 different apple computers and 2 different usb sticks. In the end I had to give up. It did do the main software update ok. But map update it just won’t.

I’m currently putting the firmware update in my 3008. I kept the main European countries in when adding them to the sat-nav…schoolboy error…taken 1 hour so far and no sign of stopping 😂😩

I'm not getting the popup after inserting the USB stick in the car. The manual does not say how to get it to trigger. Is there a menu I need to be in? Edit: It triggered on its own after about 5 minutes of just leaving it plugged in. It is updating now 😄

I have did everything step by step. I have chosen only united kingdom and it took over 1 hour. But in the end nothing just vanished all my old maps i had and now when i go to navigation it says no maps available . I mean i had the maps i just wanted to update them maybe that was the fault showing my vehicle in wrong cuty at its old seller . Anyway now i am without any maps nothing. Why did that happened?

Right. I have downloaded the file on my USB. In the correct format (I have a peugeot 3008 2015 reg), but when I plug it in and follow instructions nothing happens... I scroll down to the correct region, and then go to put in the vin number, but all it says is "information for manual application" anyone else had this?

Totally doesnt work, numerous threads online about the Peugeot software hanging on the formating USB key stage. Utterly useless. just give us a link to the files and let us download them ourselves.

To be honest all updates should be OTA anyway I can't see why it's a manual process

I used a MacBook. First formatted the USB with disk utility to exfat then used the app from Peugeot and everything worked.

@@Harry-IV I tried exFAT first and didn't work, so tried FAT32 and NTFS and neither of those worked either!!!!

On the app, I don’t have the software update option, only connected services and vehicle information. Do I need to be plugged in to the car to see if there are updates available?

I also had this problem.... Took me one whole day and one night, cause it always stopped the download over and over again..... And after it was downloaded it said, file not readable.....😅😅 So, tried again and finally it worked.... Soooooooo..... Two days for 7GB download 🥹🥹

Bonjour a tous, je suis propriétaire d’une féline 5008 GT de 2021 depuis 1 mois. Acheter via un mandataire aux Pays-Bas. J’ai un problème, j’avais un problème de micro car j’entendais très bien au téléphone par contre, quand je parlais mes interlocuteurs ne m’entendais pas.. j’ai donc pris RDV avec le concessionnaire (du village où je vis) après tout qui de mieux pour s’occuper d’une Peugeot qu’un garage Peugeot me suis-je dit..l’erreur en effet, le diagnostic a été réalisé et il s’est avéré que Boîtier Télématique Autonome était manquant sur le véhicule facture de 700€ pour le changer. Je décide d’effectuer les réparations plus tard et demande à ce qu’il me remonte tout comme c’était je leur reviendrais dans la semaine vu que tout marche à part le micro et que je n’ai aucun voyant d’allumer.. ce qu’il ont fait. Une fois tout remonté il se sont rendu compte que la caméra de recul 180 ne marchais pas, de même les détecteurs d’angles mort. Quand à la radio elle marche mais on ne peut pas augmenter le volume. Une vrai galère.. Le véhicule est dans le garage depuis une semaine et ils n’arrivent pas à trouver le problème je me suis même pris la tête avec eux car il voulais me faire récupérer le véhicule ainsi ce que j’ai refusé car le véhicule leur a été donné fonctionnel sauf le micro.. pouvez-vous m’aider/éclairer si vous avez une idée ? J’ai demandé aujourd’hui à ce qu’il regarde les fusibles (c’est chatGPT) qui me l’a suggéré car il ne l’ont pas fait. Mais il s’avère que le problème ne viens pas de là.. le garage a tout changer et vérifier les capteurs mais toujours rien. Tout est fonctionnel sauf que ça ne marche malheureusement toujours pas. Ils attendent donc le retour de Peugeot.. Seul bémol, je suis censé partir en vacances avec le véhicule vendredi matin. Après plusieurs réflexions avec le Garage, il s’avère qu’il s’agit d’un problème de mise à jour, sauf que ils ont pas cette mise à jour ou du moins celle qu’ils essayent d’installer ne marche pas. Hi Mr H. Great information here. is this the same process to to update the entertainment system? I recently lost the ability to access apple car play and was told it would cost £50 to update the firmware. sounds as if what you have explained is exactly what the dealer would do. thanks again. liked.

Thanks for the video. This was one of the least intuitive updates ever. Instructions via the downloaded app were in broken English, the download speeds for a 25 GB package were so slow, the vehicle gives no clear indication the update is successful at the end, and the app doesn't tell you what software version you're currently on and therefore whether a 1 hour plus update is worth your time.

For the map update it didn’t give me the option to select countries only map-eur so I’m assuming it’s done all taking around 45 min

How long did it take while in the car? I've just done it and I think it took about 30mins, frustrated as after i did the install there was a screen prompt to restart the system a message came up about the usb being connected and the update ready to be started!

yep it took around 30 minutes for me aswell it's super slow they really need to start doing ota updates

it could be an issue with your thumb drive or storage have you tried using a different one

Can there be other unrelated files on the usb stick or does it have to be a completely empty usb stick with just the Peugeot files on there?

It will format the drive so anything on there will be lost

I had the same files on mine. I just deleted the files. I was given the option to format to FAT32 whilst downloading the new files from the peugeot website. The website did all the work. Ive done this twice now. First on a 71 plate E208 now on my petrol 23 plate 3008GT UP TO NOW NO PROBLEM

I had 2 updates to do. They are huge files so it takes a long time to download. then i had to put them on a memory stick. had to buy a larger usb stick. this has password protection. when i put the memory stick in the car, it said no media. garage not particularly helpful since it takes a while to load. is the password protection preventing the update?
