Love the videos but I would really appreciate it if the basics were stated: - "Today we are using a 5.5 gpm system" - "For this particular job we are using a 2% SH solution" - "No rinsing was required" - " This particular house used 65 gallons of 2% solution" That's the golden information everyone wants to hear and what every guy putting out videos should be stating. Thank you

No, I teach all that in my class. Can’t give away everything for free on KZbin. I have 2 full length vids on KZbin (1 roof cleaning and one drive way) that I go into full detail on. I’m just not going to do that on every single video. It’s free content, if you want to learn everything, you should expect to pay for it.
@LowkeeLT
@LowkeeLT 3 жыл бұрын
@@southeastsoftwash4020 you're running a monetized KZbin channel. Viewers dealing with annoying ads is what is paying you. This isn't even helpful, it's a commercial that you expect to get paid to have other people watch. You have entitlement issues.
@southeastsoftwash4020
@southeastsoftwash4020 3 жыл бұрын
@@LowkeeLT nope, your assumption is wrong. You guys are working off of the premise that every single video I ever put on KZbin has to be the way you want it done, it Has to be free how to’s for you to consume. Now, I very much understand going to KZbin for free instructional videos. I do that myself all the time. And I have posted several videos on my channel that give you a complete step-by-step guide on how to do a particular task. But to get it in your mind that every video a content creator puts up has to be in that format is completely wrong. I am under no obligation to put up anything except what I want to put up. If you do not like the channel or the content, then don’t watch it. Simple as that. There are some channels that I follow and they have videos that give me free content, then they have other videos which really just act as a teaser for their paid content. I have no problem with that. I just have to make a decision to pay to play, or try to figure it out and keep searching online. I’m running a multi million dollar a year business, that little bit of ad revenue from KZbin is definitely not what I’m worried about LOL. I do enjoy giving out information, and helping guys through KZbin. But my end goal is to attract customers to my business. Which is exactly what my KZbin channel does. If I can help some guys along the way for free, then that’s a bonus for them. I think it’s funny that you are telling me I have entitlement issues, but you are the one expecting me to give you something for free. 😂 If you don’t want to deal with ads on KZbin, you can pay 20 bucks a month and skip ads on everything you watch.

I used to cover the whole house in a foam of bleach and a cleaner. Let it sit for about a half an hr, not to long in the sun, then soft power wash and would look cleans as a whistle to stain. Looks awesome with a honey wheat stain with a white gloss paint for the trim.

My first feature film was a western. lots of shingle work, lots of opportunity to show off hack skill saw work. Then the painters would come in with some iron based fertilizer mixed in their big sprayers and minuted after spraying the brand new set, the wood would look just like this aged siding! Maybe not quite as black.

I hope this comment is seen, the video is 4 years old now. There is a 2 story farmhouse in Maine for sale that has cedar shake siding on all 4 sides and most/all of it is black from weather and age. The house is 202 years old but I don't know the age of the siding - could be original. The back side looks almost damaged but that could just be the picture. I'm in Missouri and have not seen it in person. Can siding that old be soft washed? How long can cedar shake siding last without regular maintenance? And with regular maintenance? I have no experience with cedar anything and the only house washing I've done was power wash on vinyl siding to get green mold/algae off. Thanks.

i would have very interested in seeing you clean a hard to reach area like the top, or the top of a corner of the second story. Its one thing alot of videos dont show is how to hit those hard to reach areas. Most videos tend to show the ground or a flat easy side of the house. Good info otherwise.

I love these wash companies claiming they have a " special solution" or " secret sauce" lol. Its a a scam..

How is it a scam exactly? It would only be a scam if it did not work. We are not a chemical company anyway, we do this service for our residential customers. There are plenty of chemical options that will work for wood cleaning
