Hi Hudson, I have a pressure wash trailer and have issues with the 12v pumps leaking after a couple weeks to a month or so of use. Even with running water through them after use they leak. Would you say the air compressor pumps are more reliable? Do you have a problem with leaks at all? I really only need to spray up to 40ft but the main thing I’m looking for is reliability.

Hi Evan, The air diaphragm system is a very reliable system. If you're looking to get 40' it's definitely a great investment. In this video I'm using a 1/2" air diaphragm with a 9 gallon air compressor @125 psi.

Just turn down your p40 in pressure and rpm??

All that that you have going on just to get that little bit of volume and distance????? You can get that out of a 12 V if not pretty darn close to it !!!!! I’ve had every machine there is except for air diaphragms bc they’re a ton of machine, noise & money for hardly any performance

I get a little more than that out of my 12v overflo dual setup.

Hi Jared and Peyton. thanks for checking out the video. I started out with the 12V as well and don't misundstand. I agree at each system works well. The issue with a 12V system for me is the reliability factor. It worked for me on a few jobs but had to many issues; a fuse have blown, the battery charge may gone down on the jobsite, pump goes out, etc. The Air Diaphragm has always been dependable, it's "Ole Faithful" and it definitely gets more distance and volume compared to the 12V system. I have recently change from 1/2" hose to 5/8" and it's no comparison to the flow of a 12V. These 2 options of 1/2" Air Diaphragm and gas roof pump opens up my options for cleaning on different projects. Commercial exteriors mostly require the gas roof pump; it's fast and effective. Residential; depends on the surface, but both are very effective as well.
