My daughter was also 6 years old when she was diagnosed. As a momma, it breaks my heart that she has been the icu so much. If diabetes is not treated properly, it can affect every other organ in the body. It can lead to blindness and amputation of limbs, specially the feet due to poor circulation. Diabetes is also one of the most expensive diseases to have. 1 insulin pen is around $100, my 10 year old goes through 2-3 a month. Not to mention the cost of all the testing supplies. I hope she has some kind of insurance.

She seems to be mindful of her health. I’ve always had serious medical issues, so I do know what it takes to stay on top of it. I will be full of problems within a week if I’m not doing the right thing, and I survived the sex industry. The main thing that gets us girls off track with health issues is substance use. I fell into using things that weren’t prescribed that for a relatively short time, compared to how long I was out there. I’m still paying for it, though. @@alilarhdiri9666 Yeah what's wrong with human trafficking? The argument you make was also made in favor of slavery. Slaves had a place to sleep and food provided, while if they were free they would have nothing. And often there was some degree of affection between the 'owners' and slave families, so they would stay willingly because it was the only life they knew. You can even see this today with child servants in developing countries. They wouldn't be indoors or have food and clothes if they weren't in servitude people say, so it's better for them.

When I was a kid, I didn’t know that was a valid concern at all, so even when CPS investigated or I was sent to treatment and rehabilitation programs (for not going to school and “running away”, which I never had to do…no one, once, looked or tried to stop me) I wasn’t able to address that part at all. I can respect someone who uses their given name. I was homeless for a bit and when someone would introduce themselves with a 'street name' I immediately lost interest in talking to them. You won't escape the street if you identify it to the point you change your whole identity to a street identity. Plus using made up names only shows you are being held back by your own vanity.

Let us not pretend like the pimps are good with money, because it sure doesn't leave the sex workers with a big bank account. And a pimp is not in the business because the women are "bad" with money, lol.

Good day Matriarchy👋😁. For real! If the money ain’t in her bank account when she tries to leave she’s gonna find out he didn’t save nothing for her. Then she’s find out that ain’t her car neither.

@@myeyeswentdeaf6213 Hi Eyes. I was not talking about what she thinks, because she knows that her money isn't going to her. I was talking about Mark talking about "good" pimps and how he said that 95 percent of the women are bad with money, lol. No one who is completely free, is going to sck sweaty blls of strangers just to give away the money you made from it. As if we would work 24 hours a day without pay, lol.

Always left wondering, as I'm sure many people are, why? Especially as she had the luxury of choice, which many people don't. Why did Carissa chose a culture that she says robs, rapes and kidnaps. And a profession that leaves her without resources for medical care? Carissa seems to come last on her set of priorities. She not only has to provide for herself but provide for her family as well. She's got dependents who she believes take care of her when it's truly the other way around.

Right? Like if she wants to get in the sex industry, why would she choose street prostitution which is the most dangerous. She could do cam work or sugar baby-ing or if she really wants to be an escort, do it for upper class men like wall street bankers etc.

You know how you grow up and you don’t really know how to budget until you go on your own and have to hands on learn how to adult budget groceries rent bills car payments etc? Even tho it was explained to us thoroughly . Similar thing . You can’t understand the game unless you’re in it or been apart of it in some aspect . You can’t understand an emotional and strenuous circumstance(s) you’ve never been put in . Because there’s a lot of layers , most squares don’t even understand why most people get into this life because everyone’s circumstances are different
