I think Rebeccas drugs are crystal and ecstasy. The videos I have seen where she is writhing around half nude on a sidewalk are her in the grips of full on meth psychosis which happens when users have been up for five days but continue to use meth, stay up for ANOTHER five days, and eventually just end up in a waking hallucination. I saw a “Fail compilation” video that included a vid of Rebecca writhing on the sidewalk and my heart broke. I personally have prayed so much for Rebecca; I am SURE many many others are as well. @James Madison What a short-sighted silly comment. Yes if it were only so easy. Of course everyone should be productive and self sufficient. Sometimes it just isn’t possible. The main reason in my opinion is mental health or the lack of. While I don't imagine they were very nice places to be in previous generations there were asylums and poor farms. Currently, there is a lack of beds and services even for individuals that have family involved in their lives and care. Yes some of the people Mark interviews are not likable or seem to be devious, evil, have no soul. That is not the case with Rebecca. If watching Mark’s channel bothers you or makes you angry just stop watching it. I am a conservative, I grew up with extreme abuse and have my own issues. Somehow I have always managed to work hard and take care of myself. Not everyone can manage it.

Rebecca is clearly using drugs at the time of this video. The lifestyle isn't driven by some eccentric choice, the drugs are driving it. Maybe if Rebecca would've made different choices around this time it would've ended differently, but honestly, she's already quite far gone here. Living on the streets, all roughed up with bruises and scrapes on her arms and legs. The constant semi-ironic remarks about "thriving" and loving her life is a brutal foreshadowing. This video broke my heart more than any of the other, newer ones - ironically. It's because I can see the seemingly bright, curious, well-rounded, personable person under the nasty, burdensome addiction that's been unrelentingly piled on to this kind soul ever since.

I love the fact that in every of her videos, she's asking questions, wants to know what Mark is thinking, she's genuinely interested in him and his opinions, and she's LISTENING! I've watched hundreds if not thousands of SWU videos, and I have never seen someone crack Mark open like Rebecca has. She makes him laugh and gets him to talk more about himself than any other interviewee on the channel. It's so hard to watch the spark that they have together slowly fizzle with the more recent interviews. I hope Rebecca gets help soon, she has a person here who clearly loves her so much and thinks the world of her.
