@brittaolson65503 жыл бұрын
That sounds just like me, honestly. That was who was making money and seemed to have the “local fame” in my neighborhood and I knew it, already. I could relate to her saying that. All that glamorous stuff is not what it’s about though! If all little girls knew that, we would never think it’s an “out” from the problems of poverty. Real life, it’s just another problem of poverty that you have to live out, most of the time. There are people who really do save some money and get out. The only way out of that struggle is through a whole lot more of it if you go that route. But so many people just get caught up in the drugs or the wrong people, or meet the wrong one. She really told it like it is. P.S. I know there working girls who use it to better themselves, but I’m talking about just going into the life as a young person without backup or a clue.

At 12 I was raped by her boyfriend, well....I kind off went into it and dig him. it felt good to have some attention and hear some sweet words for once. But that batch of my mom found out and she was so close in murdering me. Because of that. I was rescued by my oldest bro coming home, he is a Marine, so he toke away to a friend of his, a very beautiful ginger girl from Naperville IL she gave a safe house. But she treated me as a slave, I had to do everything at home and everything she ask me for. Nothing nasty, just clean up, wash clothes even wash her car...stuff like that.

@@michellejewell9859 I’m so sorry to hear you had to go through all that abuse by people you should have been able to trust. I feel you on that, so much. As a kid, I left home at 14 because of sexual abuse by a boyfriend of my mom’s. I stayed with people who took advantage of my easy labor, too. My mother and I have both been trafficked, and I missed a lot of schooling in the process. I was talking about how we got the idea of that but, besides what we see, it’s often our day-to-day experience to be sexually abused or taken to make money that way. Then there are the people who are just tired of being poor who end up working streets. I don’t know your mother but I know what I went through. The tricks can be really abusive and violent. Seeing how badly they treat you and other women can make you go insane, especially if you’re underage when you turn out, or get turned out. I was worried that I would become a psychopath. So I got help and support and there were some very supportive women & services out there. They didn’t used to have all those resources. If she didn’t get help, there are things that people cannot withstand. Maybe it was the streets she couldn’t cope with, or maybe it was something else. I’m not making excuses. It just doesn’t surprise me. My mom was not the same after what happened to her, ever. Some people just never got the right parenting to be able to do it themselves. I hope a beautiful life today, and a good support system, because you deserve one!

💯. One of the best comments on here. I’ve been in the life a long time and I don’t know anyone who loves the sex work all the time. She’s got a role to play, thought, and she’s on her Ps & Q’s. It’s the game, but, like she said, it’s not A game. I’m a loyal worker but I don’t love trick sex for its own sake. I will sure admit to a pimp sex fetish, tho! Other men don’t know what to do to me...Being in the life is like being a gynecologist. Just looking at somebody’s parts is not gonna do it for you when you see them every day. Im not saying she’s lying, tho. Some people have hypersexuality because of bipolar manic episodes. Who knows? I just see it this way... other people have jobs Where they are enthralled to be doing the work all day. I can accept and be glad I have my job without being crazy about every aspect.

Very true! No woman or girl wants to truly do this. Which was proven in Portugal when they legalized drugs. The working girls immediately stopped walking the streets!! Because the truth is - no one wants to truly do that. Most likely, her brain has done this in order to cope. Because facing the truth and reality, would be too hard for her to face and cope with. And the brain is amazing in what it will do to protect u and survive! She is delusional and/or lying obviously. But most likely, this is not something she's done on purpose. I think this is the realest individual interview of a female I’ve seen on here. She’s finally telling it like it is. The streets are alive and well, and only grind harder, the more they legislate against it, because people have to eat. Period. Please don’t go it on your own out there. Like she said, unless you have some business with someone out there, it’s too much of a risk, because someone will have business with you. It’s not all bad people in the life; I’m always the first to say that. There’s good, supportive people who take care of theirs, but there are those in survival mode, who can’t afford to gaf about you, themselves, or anyone. The streets ARE survival mode, full stop. If that’s not your struggle, why look for it? There’s nothing glamorous about it.

A cycle just like she said. I always ask myself ....why do parents bring these kids into this world just to hurt them and cause all this trauma. It’s so crazy how she says things she lived like it’s something normal. Really hoping she gets out of the streets but She needs to wanted.

It would be impossible for me to do anything more than what I currently do. I see no one stepping up to help me in any of this. It appears I’m now some kind of healer or something. I think she's just trying to make the best of her situation, imo. If she feels in control and like it isn't that bad and she enjoys it, it's a lot better than feeling helpless and trapped in a life of hell. Who knows, maybe everything in life really is a matter of perspective. What else can she do about it? I'm stuck in a shitty helpless situation/time in my life (not like her, something different), and perhaps adopting a different attitude while I get through this will better help me, because it sure as hell hurts to feel hopeless and stuck. I want to feel like I have control, too. I respect her. She's inspired me, in a weird way. We all will get through, some way. I pray there is an answer to all of this and some justice in the end. Life sure is tough.
