I’m only a couple minutes in, but I get the impression, with how quickly she talks and how willing she is to share, that she doesn’t have anyone to really talk to. She seems like a nice woman. I hope she finds sobriety. She’s clearly smart and well spoken. She could do so much still with her life.

@@KansasCityRonC i get it but I think most are forgetting that his literal channel name is “underbelly” as in the “isolated” and “unpleasant” part of society. He is just doing what his channel is literally meant to do. Anything other than addicts or prostitutes should be treated as a “bonus” or “treat”. Plus, if you look at the numbers, you’ll see that he really doesn’t post many addicts anymore as when his channel 1st started… so I’m not sure where all this complaining is coming from. No one is asking you to feel sorry for them.

Being a military brat tends to create polar extremes in social skills. I grew up on bases around the world, having to create a new set of friends every couple of years and always being the new kid in class. In my case, it helped developed the skills to easily adapt to new situations and new people. It has given me both comfort and a desire to seek out the new and the different. On the other hand, I have seen the opposite effect in other people. They have both a lifetime search for stability and a tendency to sabotage it before they obtain it. I don't know why some thrive and some don't.

Childhood trauma they don't remember, or just too much confusion when mothers change a few boyfriends, or husbands who are willing to kill for no good reason (in my opinon) when ordered to do it. We had such families when Yugoslavia fell apart, their children were often a lot more damaged than our usual drug user.

Lesley,you and I are about the same age. I also have 3 sons. I never used drugs or alcohol,but I have many other regrets. I've made too many mistakes to count. And even though I devoted my time to stay at home with my children, my middle son is an addict and our family does our best to hang on . At this age, we are naturally looking to be able to slow down,heal our wounds, forgive ourselves, and hope to have a good 3rd quarter. Please be done with this way of life that doesn't serve you,I'm not sure it ever did serve you. Please choose yourself and get help now,today. I have found that there isn't time for a bunch of introspection and hitting walls......the time is now.

I love when people reply to "Thank you" with "You're welcome". She's just five and some days older than me. And for this month my food-stamp card wasn't reloaded, due to my casework's not certifying my review, which was done in April. And she was late because she was overloaded with cases. I'm lucky I bought out my brother's share of the house I live in now after my mom died. Otherwise, my son and I would be homeless. Lesley, I hope you stay strong and get clean, because you are worth it. Trust a weird white lady who' quit alcohol over 35 years ago (though now I'm addicted to coffee, lol), okay? Please?

@FLBeautyQueenI feel where you're coming from. These people who kiss Rebecca's ass when they have contributed nothing to the cause think they're special. Those who have contributed have a right to say "enough ", "I'm out" it's time for tough love". He obviously doesn't want help, he just wants the money for drugs. People who donated wanted to help him get help,not support his drug habit. Mark said one thing and then caved and did another. That's fine for Mark. He wants to support him no matter what it seems. Fine. He can afford to do that with his own money. I'd rather donate to the ones who truly want the help but just don't have the means to do it for themselves. There's nothing wrong with wanting your donation to be spent wisely and not thrown away for his next high.

I can instantly that she's a Crack addict. I was for 20 years. It's not hard at all to get off Crack. The hardest thing is finding other things to take up your time. It sure felt hard at the time. @minigirl6839
@minigirl6839 4 ай бұрын
So true what you said. It is easier to get off Crack than Fentanyl. And we all have to decide for ourselves when and how we are going to do it. Nobody can do it for us. We have to train ourselves to focus on other activities, as you stated, filling the time. She needs to make better bad decisions or start making good ones. I've watched some interviews where the person would go from hard core drug use, to going cold turkey and then switching to intense body building as a way to keep busy and stay clean. They trade one obsession for another, but at least they got clean. I just hope she wants help and can get it if she's serious about wanting to stop.

I feel for her children. I hope that they receive all the love and support and whatever else it takes to grow strong, solid of character. Sometimes just the knowledge of your mother's lifestyle can deal a life shattering blow. May they be able to overcome this if they are affected this way. I wish the best to Lesley. I cannot determine from the interview what in her life put her on such a self-destructive course. One recent interviewee said something like ' you can't pull yourself up by your boot straps when you don't even have boots.' The frustration is that when these people have 'boots' (good jobs or relationships), they throw them away. Makes me realize, life is a slippery ledge where you can suddenly lose your footing. Actually, you can never let go. Always stay in control, responsible. And then, you still can fall - or just be put in a poor 'nest.' Again, my best to her children.

I really hope she can get back on track. I finally stopped taking pain meds (i was prescribed by my dr after breaking my back) but somedays...the pain is surreal between physically and mental pain from my son and husband dying and loosing my home and things l so i watch so i remember it would NOT be a good choice. I pray everyone thats struggling with addiction gets the help they need.

I liked this woman right away. She’s smart and cute. I hope she can get sober and find her way. I have struggled with drugs & alcohol. I’ve been sober for 3 years. It’s was hard but so worth it. I pray she will have a great life. I could sense she was smart and strong. 😅💜

On one hand, this breaks my heart. You can tell at one time she was a beautiful woman that had the whole world in front of her. She is still pretty even after all the drugs and rough life. And she is not like so many other addicts Mark has on here. She is still quick witted and sharp. But on the other hand, she is willingly spreading HIV all around. She knows what she is doing. All of the bad things she has done in life, and this just adds to it. This makes me both sad and angry at the same time.

This woman has been given multiple chances but has sabotaged them all. She’s definitely her own worst enemy and the creator of her own suffering. She definitely has demonic powers attached to her. I hope she gets out but the longer this goes on the more her chances run out.

People are arguing in the comments on whether she’s a good person or not. The point is: she’s just a person. Even with her addiction and her choices, she’s just a person. She’s human. All humans are fallible. We are all capable of good and bad. Stop arguing and just listen.
