Initially I wasn't a fan of the Mount signing. Just couldn't see how he'd 'fit' into the team. My view is slowly changing after his 1st half performance. But no way you can play both him and Bruno in the same team if you want it to be fluid and balanced. They'll both have to fight for the same starting position. Personally, I think Mount infuses more pace and movement in our play in a way Bruno doesn't as he just spams passes rather everywhere which is frustrating when he misses. His moaning and hand raising is annoying too...

the change in dominance of the ball without Rashford is not really surprising. he can be really dangerous but when theres no end product it just does not make sense. Bruno is arguably one of our best signings in recent years, no doubt but he can be super wasteful and his attitude does not help during tough moments. Amrabat has helped show how multitalented Casemiro is in terms of line breaking passes and we must sign him permanently, given he impacts the team this way. great game by Mount as well. picking starters looks tough already but rashford and bruno should know they have serious competition, especially bruno, since hes the captain. rashford needs to focus on team objectives as well, and he will automatically benefit personally as well.

United were much better last night as they kept possession. Bruno is erratic trying passes which aren't on giving the ball away, this also spreads through the team tying these silly passes. Yes when these passes come off great but most of the time they do not which leads to counters and a none existent midfield as they have pushed up.

Apart from long looping balls for counterattacking what does he offer. Watch other teams...Burnley for example. How did they play....pass then move then receive ....appears simple but you will need high technical ability and positional acumen. Bruno lacks this. He is good for counterattacking teams.

Bruno is Mr Hollywood pass. He can sometimes make the creative passes that s necessary to break down tougher opposition. But his problem is his inability to dribble with the ball and losing the ball. Only problem with Rashford is that he can be selfish (same with Anthony). If both of them don't play selfishly, then they would be standout players for United.
