Hi.. just stumbling on this now.. nice Review! how is the SOG vs Rush 511 backpack? I might get the Rush series.. i served as a soldier in Singapore so yea.. looking for good backpacks.

The SOG is a good pack but I would still consider it a budget pack. The 5.11 rush series is a great pack. They are tough, well laid out and not too expensive. I have the rush 72, and im thinking of getting the rush 24. I like the rush series more than much more expensive packs.
