Superglue a magnet on one of the sides will "lock" it closed. Gripper between the handles under the plier head.

I super-glued a tiny, round magnet between the closed handles, on one side only, near the ends, to prevent accidental opening of the tool, which I’ve found to be a simple and excellent modification.
@JebBrilliant2 ай бұрын
@@allemander I think I should try that. Doesn’t it open the device a little bit though?
@allemander2 ай бұрын
@@JebBrilliant Maybe a millimeter or two, depending on the dimensions of the magnet you use. Just find the thinnest magnet you can - or I can send you one, I have plenty. You’ll just have to find a way to provide a shipping address.

@@allemander I’m ok, thanks. I only ever have a problem with it when I don’t slide it to the back of the coin pocket on my jeans.

Enjoy mine as well. Like being able to open another tool to close the currently opened tool versus using the unlock on the handles themselves. I carry an old pepto bismuth travel container filled with with bits and two drill bits for use with it. Bonus is pink pepto container fits on my streamlight as a red light diffuser too.

I love mine also, but I did have to put a magnet for I can keep it closed. Works very well.

@@sonnyzickefoose727 That’s a good idea. I keep mine in the little change pocket on my jeans so it usually stays closed.

I really like my powerlitre it has a lock to keep it closed. When you use the bit holder you can use the lock so you don't have to squeeze as hard.

I'll have to check out the PowerLite. Is it around the same size as the PowerPint?

No. My 2 year old Power Pint is not painted. It’s more like stained. The black wears off but does not peel off.

I like mine but theres flaws. I wish they would make a powerpint 2.0 with better steel, revised scissors, diamond file, prybar/flat head, better sharpening of the tools. I would gladly pay more for this
@JebBrilliant2 ай бұрын
@@emochickluvzblk I 100% agree. I would like to see the super sharp non blade (all?) removed and the bottle opener combined with the can opener.
