Great video, tnx for the multitoolworld shoutout. This is one of the tools that makes collecting multitools so cool, the uniqueness alone is just worth the search to find one. I hope you find a PT525 in the future, because it's the best of both worlds and actually well fitted for regular tech schmugs like myself. have a great day!

In actual fact, moving the small central "blocking Lever" forwards - towards the pliers, PREVENTS the pliers closing clompletely and thus ALLOWS the three wire-stripping notches to be used, without risk of cutting the conductor in the cable that is being stripped. Moving the lever REARWARDS then allows full closure of the plier jaws, which obviously allows the cutting portion therin to function. Just saying...

I’m a huge fan of sogs design from this era. Minus the gear guard which hides the genius of the design imo. I get that it’s more practical to protect the tines from impact damage, but it’s worth the risk imo to see those gears work. Just beautiful.

I just feel like the implements on this tool are very oddly shaped. The combo blade looks like its from one of the $5 Chinese multi tools. I also feel like anyone who uses that many electrician tools… would have the purpose built tool as well. Thanks for the video review. Oh… and… Dry wall punch tool??? OMG! Literally any implement on that tool could be a dry wall punch. The “spungion” would be a better drywall punch. So funny what they call things to get more tool count.

Unfortunately they are very hard to find. Only available used on ebay etc , but still rare to find especially under $200.

Why a 'tradesman' would use a (even specialized) multi tool over dedicated professional tools is beyond me. If you doing something for a living requiring tools, a multi tool is **NOT** your first (or second or third) choice.
