Alcohol induced split personality syndrome. Jeffery Dammer is the classic example. His dark personality was alone in remembering the murders. In this stories case the internal struggle between the battling personalities had not yet been settled, since the light personality represented by the MII still interacts with the the main personality. His inability to remember committing the murders is also accurate as the dark personality committed them and would be the only one of the three personalities to remember committing the murders.

It is unusual, but split personality syndrome means one personality is asleep while the other is awake. In this case, the switching personality is hampered further by beer and drugs making the personality switch take more time. It seems the murderer personality manifested itself in the form of a MII and this story is a serial killer’s first murders. This fact makes this story more creepy. Also, more disturbing, in 2021, as in last year, the MII killer was arrested with 27 murders. It appears the last piece of the murderers light personality compelled them to write this story. Before this, nothing connected the MII killer to the suspect.
