What a talented group of people. One of the best renditions of Soggy's I've heard and I love how they paired it with Farewell to Whalley Range.

Hey Guys!!! The second tune was precisely the one I wanted to jam with you back in Lorient in 2012! You're amazing... Best regards :)

nice playing, but Whalley Range is not trad, it was written by Mike McGoldrick after the area of Manchester he used to live in

chris t if you’re gonna be like that then the tin whistle isn’t irish because it was made in england or uilleann pipes aren’t irish because of the double read originating from australia

Soggy's was written by Sean Og Graham (Soggy), also relatively recently. These days the definition of Irish/Scottish 'trad' is more to do with the idiom the tune is written in and whether or not it has been adopted as part of the living tradition than its age. By your argument you could argue that Paddy Fahy's tunes aren't trad either - in which case you're on a hiding to nothing.

Great music, bloody irritating camera work - they obviously weren't listening to the music
