when i listen to this i remember all the happy things that never really happened to me EDIT, SEPT. 19, 2019 Hello to you!!! I wrote this comment when I was in such a terrible state of mind. I was very young then and I was unsure of everything. I'm now in college, almost graduating! I'm going through a tough time right now and I got nostalgic of the past and suddenly remembered this song. It's healing in way, even when I know that this song symbolizes a sad time in my life. However, what I can tell you is that things will change! If you're feeling unsure of yourself or if you're lonely, I want you to know that there will be a day when things will change. You'll do so many great things, meet people who will absolutely adore and love you. I used to think great things will never happen to me and hear I am in the present, quite broken, but somehow still so happy and grateful that I'm living! I did all the things I only daydreamed of - alone and with friends. And I'm looking forward to more! ❤️💐 Edit 2024: Hey, when I said this song makes me think of things that never happened to me? Guess what, they happened to me. All great memories. Life looks so dull when you're a teenager with nothing going on, but exciting things will happen to you.

What really hit me was the sound of the cicadas. I remember hearing them in the forest as a little kid since we had lived up on a mountain surrounded by greenery. It was a shame we had to move, makes me wish I had appreciated it more.

아무리 힘들어도 인생은 버티고 볼 일. 짧은 노래지만 들으면서 여러 생각이 든다. 힘들었던 것도, 포기하고 싶던 것도. 근데 그걸 겪어내고 자존감이 높아지고 성취욕이 생겼던 기억도 난다. 앞으로 생길 수많은 난관을 이겨내고 뒤돌아봤을 때, 내 인생이 뿌듯하고 알찼다는 생각이 들었으면 좋겠다. 꼭 그랬으면 좋겠다.

My summer memories: Rainy days, Late night walks, Smell of the grass after the rain, Sunset, Sunrise (Like both but sunset seems more beautifull :P), Walking through the forest while listening to music, Watching people going by in the Beijing street (Lanterns in the street made it more like spirited away, well it seemed to my like that :)), Seeing the stars , Hearing children's laugh on a sunny day, Greeting with babies on the street (or generally everywhere hahah), meeting with people's dogs as I currently don't have one :)) (But why they are soooo cute? :))), Closing my eyes and feeling the sunlight on my skin, finding new music which potentially brings some emotion, watching my photos from childhood and wondering how much time had already passed and how everything have changed over the time (But sometimes it feels kinda sad to realize that we are not here for a long time, even people we love are getting older everyday and it's just all temporary, but maybe that will make this life more worthwhile), Looking through the train window, Looking far away and feeling nostalgic, Seeing the sky getting clear after the rain, Watching the clouds passing by, Sleeping when raining outside (One of the comfiest feeling ever :)). Watching Komorebi~ Loving every music that someone had sent me (At first it was a feeling more like aha moment :P, then it started to change. Those musics really made my days :)), Talking with someone, I have never met about everything at 3am. I think there is something strange about this stranger somehow. :))

You were young, you're still naive and don't know anything. Everything feels like it could stays like it for ages and never goes wrong. And then you began to grow older and moved to a way farther place, realizing that it the old place that you had when you were young has changed, You decided to try and go back to the place. After many attempts and scheduling through your harsh work schedules you finally get a free time and decided it is the best time you've gotten to go back and visit that old place, what you called hometown. Everything has changed, your old school, the hospital has been brought down and been replaced of a mall, and the field that you remember has turned into a factory. That old feelings has disappear. I am disappointed and accept nothing stays the same. But i cried that i didn't take any keepsakes as a memory and let that all went away without me noticing
