Improved in tone, ease when singing, support, runs/riffs (Agility), shows more emotions (for some who claim that she doesn't...yeah), LOW notes, sometimes her HV is rich too etc. Because of her amazing technique, she has maintained her voice, and even has improved, at this age (Not that she's old of course!!!)! 💖💖💖

Such a great compilation of last years superb vocals! I recently realized that her vocal range then actually goes to C6, she touches that note very quickly after the high Bb5 in Arirang Alone! I've always missed it but that's indeed what she does, I checked with a pitch app too. It's incredible that she can still go that high in a full chest voice and the tonality there was divine, what a goddess 🤩🥰💗

actually she once introduced how she have been these years and she said she found out that her vocal cords cannot work properly like they used to (she found out that she cannot keep the quality of higher register belting at all so she travel the State just to avoid singing but then she still overcame her fear and came back to Korea for the masked singer she also mentioned that her problem's getting worse year by year that her performances in Begin Again is only 30 percent of her full ability and cannot do more like she used to pray for her 🙏🏼 (tho in my personal opinion she still slays as well, but obviously she doesn't sing that many high notes like she used to in each performance these years

I think her larynx is ok. Compare the 2021 version of "lean on me" with 2014, and compare Arirang alone in 2015 and that in 2021. She mentioned that the reason why it was difficult to sing high notes with pneumonia was not because of damaged larynx, but because of persistent phlegm. Since her actual debut as "I Am a Singer 2" in 2012, she has attempted various experimental vocal colors, and imao the completed version of them have been shown in "King of Masked Singer2". Back in 2017, her pneumonia was also severe, but anyway, she showed her peak vocal capabilities in various genres. So her pneumonia frustrated her for a while, but it seems that she eventually overcame it without any damages on her vocals. One disappointing thing as a fan of her is that she is not as good at making various and interesting attempts as she used to, and her repertoire is getting simpler. But considering her age (already in her mid-40s), it would be too much to hope for.
