This, this is the reason why I got into DnB. Found this randomly in some video game-related chat years ago and been listening to the genre ever since. Still an absolutely top-tier track for me. Whenever I listen to it, I get chills. The flow on this is absolutely perfect. Thank you random video game dude for leaving this for me to find.

@@sparklesparklesparkle6318 listening to DnB in HQ must be great, I don't have anything besides my really old Sven speakers and they don't provide the same level of enjoyment. Always lived listening to bassy music in my dad's car as a kid, he's a music enthusiast too. Upgrading my sound is pretty up there on my list!
@Orakwan Жыл бұрын
@@grogg4372do you know where I can listen to more music such as this? I really like Mt Ambient vs Spasm with the fluid drums that go forward and backward. As well as Yokozuna beach chillin, I love the calm drum n bass. I can't find a similar artist. I liked High Contrast in the past but it lacks some old school sampling like Terada's Jungle Sumo
@grogg4372 Жыл бұрын
@@Orakwan Oh man I wish someone told _me_ that 😅😩 I too wish to find stuff like this but it seems to be a style wholly unique to the artist. I spent like two hours searching for different types of DnB and just trying to pick the correct epithet lolll. I have a huge DnB collection on my PC but none of it is quite "that". Out of the "regular" DnB I may offer: Lucy In The Sky With Dynamites, an album by Osamu Sato. His music is pretty crazy and unique, but I somehow managed to associate some of his stuff with Soichi Terada's. Definitely not "it" but something to rummage in at least. Hidden Agenda - Get Carter (the 7 minute one). It's mostly just beats though. There's something else that I found called Drumfunk, this is something you might consider browsing since this is the sub-genre that has those crazy drums you want. However, I seem to be finding a lot of modern "hard" compositions, you might need to peruse it for some time until you find anything you will enjoy. Curiously, I had just one tune hiding on my PC: Wise & Deadly - Bronze Here's also a track a youtuber named arcologies made called "ambient jungle/drumfunk in renoise - "evening" - project file" - you can find it quite easily! Finally, there's a track from a very obscure game called Zeus - Carnage Heat Second, simply named "8". This was posted to YT quite recently so if you have trouble finding it tell me and I'll drop a link! When I first heard this I immediately got reminded of Grand Senshuraku, it was like whiplash, just immediate association. (Also just found out Terada did the Ape Escape OST lol) I know that none of these are "it" but I hope in the future we'll find something just as great (or someone else will tell us 🤭) Cheers!
