As an italian student of Asian languages (Korean and Mongolian, last year some Japanese too): there is this common belief in Asian countries that Westerns do have an open and immediate approach in dating, when in fact this is absolutely a matter of perspective. You wouldn't see people seeking for SERIOUS relationship sleeping together at first date. That is for people who do not look for anything but fun. Many Korean mainland boys think western girls are "open minded", giving to this word a different meaning of what it really is used for. A korean guy asking a foreign girl if she is "open minded" is roughly asking if she is open to have intercurse immediately. Totally rude to ask, and very few girls would like that approach and say yes. This fact Japanese are "conservative" is appliable only to people seeking for a relationship. I had some japanese boys just asking me out because they thought they could sleep with me easily - they are basing on the idea western girls are okay with immediate physical approach, which is just a stereotype, a myth. Sorry pals, but you will not have it easy to sleep around like this. If a guy, like the father of this video, came to me asking me for immediate touch on a fist date, I WOULD RUN AWAY. Disgusted.

You are right.. I am Arab and dated American and Latino girls and I understand what you meant. I think many men from around the world think it is easy to ask a western girl this question but the reality is so different and difficult! How many languages do you speak? Learning languages is fascinating and interesting thing but it needs and takes time,patience and practice.
