Just learned he had passed. At around the same time I got the album from NB. His contributions to Övergivenheten cannot be understated... He is credited for most of the songs, lyrics, and solos. He wrote the songs Death I Hear You Calling and Golgata which talk about the impending End. Sad. This is my favorite album of the year. RIP Andersson

What a legend. I nominate soilwork for best metal category Grammy. Very much respect. I hope Dave's passing is not the end of Soilwork as we know them.

Incredibly after being a fan for over a decade, I think this is my favourite Soilwork album (and The Living Infinite was top 10-20 all-time for me). This is a heartbreaking album to listen to in light of David's passing... And "Dreams of Nowhere" MUST be about him at least to some extent.

My first contact with Soilwork was in 2002 with Blackstar Deceiver being released on a Sampler CD of Rock Hard Magazine. Coming from Classic Metal Bands like Priest, Metallica or Maiden I was blown away by this magnificent composition of Melody, Heavyness, Aggression and technical quality. Since then they evolved into one of the most versatile and creative Metalbands I know. Constant reinvention while still keeping the roots and influencrs alive. I can't wait to hear the new album as a whole.

"Dreams of Nowhere" lyrics: It reaps your soul It won't leave you alone It runs through everything It ravages hope Believe these words Can't escape your curse You keep on treading water Taking a turn for the worst Bleeding through the blanching skin you're Offering the Gods your name Bound to see the sunrise fading The everlasting flame No, it ain't your time To waste another miracle Can you read the signs? Your burden isn't biblical All that fire inside Transcending from the physical You are damned but alive Already reached the pinnacle It's a relentless chase For the apocalyptic sake It's paved the road For your ancient pain To serve and protect Your own neglect You're falling free And in his heaven he wept Bleeding through the blanching skin you're Offering the Gods your name Bound to see the sunrise fading The everlasting flame No, it ain't your time To waste another miracle Can you read the signs? Your burden isn't biblical All that fire inside Transcending from the physical You are damned but alive Already reached the pinnacle A never dying stigma It shuts you down and let you sleep It reaps your soul It won't leave you alone It runs through everything It ravages hope Believe these words Can't escape your curse You keep on treading water Taking a turn for the worst Illuminating dreams of nowhere The darkest way to conquer your regime No, it ain't your time To waste another miracle Can you read the signs? Your burden isn't biblical Your burden isn't biblical

That part isn't in the single version of "Dreams of Nowhere," which ends at 4:30. The "outro" is almost certainly the next track on the album Övergivenheten, called "The Everlasting Flame." It's 1:07, which lines up perfectly with the extra time on this music video after "Dreams of Nowhere" ends.
