Harabas is an iconic all utility vehicle in the 70's!

the original Harabas is a 5door wagon made by GM Philippines back then..... from the same era (1970s) as other vintage AUVs back then -Toyota Tamaraw -Ford Fiera -Mitsubishi Cimarron -Isuzu KC-20 -Volkswagen Trakbayan
@francocagayat72722 жыл бұрын
@@crispinramos2775 Cimarron is from Mitsubishi powered by a 1.6L Neptune OHV 80 PS gas engine from the 1970s Lancer and Galant and the only vintage AUV to feature a flat-nose (cab forward) layout.......with the engine under the front seats and the 4spd manual is located at the steering wheel column......(like it's L300 successor) and probably the very first AUV in our market (first launched in 1961, way ahead of its rivals; Ford Fiera in 1972, Toyota Tamaraw in 1976, Isuzu KC-20 in 1978, and VW Trakbayan in 1969, along with jeep-type Sakbayan)
@francocagayat72722 жыл бұрын
there are other vintage AUVs that wasn't launched here in the Philippines back then......among those are these: -1976 Datsun/Nissan SADO -1972 Peugeot Baby Brousse -1973 Citroen Yagan -1974 Renault Rodeo -1965 BMW Farmobil -1977 DAF BATU (basic automotive transport unit) they could have been competitors of the Tamaraw, Fiera, Cimarron and the HARABAS back then here:

3:48 it is indicated in the caption that it is front wheel drive. However at 1:54 I see an axle&differential assembly indicative that this is a rear wheel drive unit. Unless this is a 4X4, but is highly unlikely.

@francocagayat7272 Жыл бұрын
Yup. And Maxus isn't a new brand like MG, it's also an old British marque too......1st launched in the early 1900s as a maker or trucks, buses, lorries and delivery vans in the early days and got defunct in the late 1960s Until SAIC bought the rights in 2010s Along with MG

How would you compare the Foton Harabas to the Susuki Carry? Susuki Carry is cheaper currently. Also, what about the back room? I think almost any person who looked your videos for the Harabas and the Carry, are interested in the car because of the space it offers for people or luggage. So it would be great if you take a few moments for filming and reviewing the back room of the van.
