Replica is the line that got me into perfumes. I received a sampler set as a birthday present with Whispers in the Library, By The Fireplace and Jazz Club and was entranced by them and then discovered KZbin reviewers and have since become a real enthusiast for fragrances and learning about them. I bought this recently and loved it. I sprayed it in a shop and forgot about it until I was driving home. The scent of a pine forest after a summer storm surrounded me in the car so I turned around and went to buy it. It’s taken over from Acqua di Gio EDP as my favourite summer fragrance….. and yes I am a bloke!

I love it. I don't think it has anything to do with the rain, but I like it. And on my skin it performs very very well, like no other "fresh-er" Replica. But then again I am not into very feminine scents.

surprisingly I love it at first i saw the notes online and think oh no I'm gonna smell too masc bc of the pink pepper but smelling it in person it felt like a very sweet but luxurious scent, but not much rain or ozonic type smell but it still a good one. I can also smell the signature dry down of Maison Margiela perfumes usually have, it feels cozy to me

I'm not sure if you've tried L'Artisan Fleur de Liane. It is the most realistic smell of rain. I love that scent, but dont wear it because it is so real that I can scent some sort of decayed leaves in the background. So I just spray it in the air and feel the ambiance. Great video as always! I've had this one for awhile! It must have been a Sephora exclusive for a bit. I like it a lot but it doesn't last long at all on me 😩 but to me it smells like after an actual thunderstorm more than just after rain.

I tested it recently but found it not particularly remarkable. It does not evoke rain (or after rain) for me and as you said, it is leaning quite masculine.

I bought this being very excited, love the smell of rain. This smells nothing like rain, sadly. Its a nice male fragrance though, quite fresh. To me its kinda similar to bubble bath in the dry down. Great video though, love your hair!!

Not my style but thank you for the review. I always enjoy the way you describe the notes , scent of a fragrance. I prefer gourmand or sweet floral scents so this is a pass .

When the rain stops is beautiful fresh after rainfall smell on my skin. Bubblebath goes dirty baby on me 😂 skin chemistry seems to have a big effect with this brand

I got 2 samples of Replica, when the rain stops and by the fire place. I can't stand both of them it's just not my cup of tea. If some of you don't like Oud overload in your perfume you're not gonna like them. I will giva a chance for another smells if any of you can recommend me something I'm happy to hear your opinions 👍

I tested this one and ended up buying it. I'm noticing that by feminine you tend to mean cloying or gourmand. I find this very feminine, including the pine and other typically masculine notes. It's when the rain stops in a garden of roses and pines, not in a forest. On the other hand, I HATED By the Fireplace. The burnt note is very dominant and smells like a burnt tortilla with vanilla.

You work is great but WHEN THE RAIN STOPS smells like those car fresheners shaped like a small Pinetree. I also got a sample of AUTUMN VIBES and this one is even worst as is more likely a toilet cleaning chemical.
