I am sorry, but Afe Babalola should not have caused the arrest of Dele Farotimi, given how old Afe Babalola is. If he is aggrieved, he should have sued Dele in a civil court. Even with criminal defamation, why was he arrested the way he was and denied bail. This appears to be a case of using power to punish a younger person. This is frowned upon by our culture. Let Dele go home to prepare his defence, if he has any. If at the end of trial he has no defence, jail him accordingly.

On the issue of fantastically corrupt *Afe Babalola,* how I wish you never delve into it or you make deep research or findings about the man. I'm in my mid-60s. The Yorubaland we are agitating can't be progressive if the mindset of Nigeria wasn't jettisoned. I'm glad that you recently visited your daughter here in the States. You observed how things are done in a saner clime, and no one is accorded preference above the law. The rule of law applies to everyone regardless of age, race, colour, or position. Such is what makes a country grow. How much do you know of Afe Babalola? How much of a personal encounter do you have? There are a lot of *unknown and hidden activities of the so-called elders in Yorubaland that make them unworthy of any dignity or respect.* I commend your input towards the ongoing agitation and sustenance of our cultures, but for the sake of our children, the younger ones, and the coming generations, we should strive to correct the ills in our midst and lay a transparent and very good foundation.
