First stayed there in 1972 the rooms were originally small apartments. Have stayed many many times since and must admit the food to me is good ( when theres not 1000s of out of order kids running around so in the winter months). Was actually there in March 2020 and had to leave to an apartment due to hotel closing because of covid. The bar was alwas a cosy place but Malia have made it a bit like an amusement archade....but having said that at £39 pn what more do you want.

I’ve Stayed there before Kevin and enjoyed myself ..£39 a night is great value 👍🏼 Do they let you upgrade to breakfast, half board and All inclusive? I must admit I paid extra for the breakfast but ate out every evening as there was a lot of bars and restaurants nearby. Great vlog 👍🏼👍🏼

I stayed There four years ago on the first floor booked through Jet2 cost almost £800 in October for 9 nights room was nothing like that very small , first night sat on the bed it broke, corridor was pitch black only a couple of lights worked had a table and chairs for balcony yet the balcony was so small i couldn't sit on a chair on it as my legs were crushed against the wall and the only way you could put the table on the balcony was if you put two legs over the balcony and balanced the table on top of it, and the door to the balcony had no lock on it for a Sol Melia hotel its the worst I have seen in that group and wrote and told them so as a Mas card holder which is there reward program would i stay there again NO, pay the extra and stay at a better hotel, what i have started to dislike in Tenerife is almost every hotel upon arrival ask would you like to upgrade your room when you have paid 600 plus already to stay there that is why I have started doing Airbnb find it a lot better.

Had some belting holidays there...as long as it's clean it's fine no one goes on holiday to sit in the room do they....keep up the great videos kev👍

cant go wrong at that price, even if the breakfast isn’t great you can always eat out and it’ll still be the best deal available

I stayed there last year (September 2021) for 1 week. We payed the same (£39 per person per night) and had a very similar room and on the 12th floor. We felt the same in some respects in that the furniture was a little outdated. However, as the saying goes: you get what you pay for! In that respect, I wasn’t expecting the Hilton Hotel for £39 per person per night. For the price, the hotel was great and well worth the money.

I stayed there for four weeks, six years on the trot. However stay away from room 815, l was pestered by a troublesome cockroach that eventually got into a pair of my trousers hung up in the wardrobe.

Good price for that size apartment. Stayed opposite in comodoro 40 euros a night for a studio no breakfast.

I've stayed twice here in the past, and it has changed names a couple of times, I remember it on my last visit as Trypp?? I certainly would not stay here again, as last time the twin room I was in was infested with bed bugs, so I was covered in extremely itchy bites - I did not think of bed bugs, I put them down to mozzies coming through the windows, wasn't until I found a couple of dead bugs in the bed linen that I realised. I found the breakfast not that good either. Very dated grey concrete building, I would have thought the owners would have taken advantage of the lockdown to refurbish, as others have, such as the Arona Gran, which was a fabulous hotel anyway.

There aren’t many places with a twelfth floor but WOW that view😍😁 Very dated but I wouldn’t complain, clean and tidy which is the main thing and with breakfast……..a bargain and I would stay there😉

One Star hotels are I think are brilliant. They are cosy and snug. I think there should be no renovation on them. I think they should be kept as they are. Now, I like the one on this video as well even though it is three. I think the three star ones should be changed to not the same as but like the one star ones. This is because I like the material in this video without being raised up and spoiled - which is not as it would seem. I think some of the one star material should be contained in the three one on this video. You know, I mean the same level where it is just sensitive instead without meaning anything high up. I'm low end. It looks as if I'm not when I am. Thank you for your hospitality.

Liked your bit yesterday about the DevonArms Im originally from Devon and can remember the owners from years ago who were also from Devon hence the name however due to very unfortunate reasons it changed ownership to Brendan who I knew for many years. I was sad to here he has now passed and wish the new owners all the best.. It always was a true Characters bar. Im 71 and over the years theres not alot of hotels that Ive not stayed in .... and have many happy stories to remember Tenerife.

If you are on a budget and only want to sleep there, maybe not bad. I’m old, I like a bit comfort, so would prefer something a bit better. However I’ve been in worse! Thanks for the videos Kevin.

I stayed there about 5 yrs ago. You had a great view in that room. Mine was on first floor at the back above where the bins gets emptied at 5 am every day.And where the staff go to smoke. The bacon was just passable at breakfast. But the rest of the food i wouldn't give to my dog. Over this sunday. Staying at paradise park. Cant wait.

Thanks for replying. I emailed the hotel the other day but they have yet to respond. We are going yo the hotel on 6th September for 2 weeks and ill have a rental car for the whole 2 weeks. ​@@ScotsmaninTenerife
