So what I'm learning from these vlogs is that a lot of luxury hotels are not worth the money! At that price you should get a free dinner and you shouldn't have to pay for the mini bar.

Not all the villas have personal pools even at ground level. We were told same thing about best view but I am not complaining about the view; we're lower down so closer to the Retreat which was perfect! The review was great to watch before coming here (was commended by someone else too)

I have heard that some people use the kettles in hotel rooms to wash their socks and underwater sometimes. Probably not in the big luxury hotels but you never know. I never use them ever.

This hotel looks spectacular on the outside with a few electrical faults in your room😂 But I think €5.50 for a bag of crisps and €6 for water is a bit obscene 😮These vlogs are great Tim but can we please have some good value budget hotels for us common folk!!! 😅😅 Especially in some good popular sunny hot spots 🎉

I swear looking at the view of that sunset I, literally thought it was a painting next to you on the wall. That’s how beautiful and perfect that sunset was. With an amazing dinner view on top of it. Also, That tenderloin at your later dinner looked delicious as well everything looked great. Some of these dishes look so fancy I’m-surprised every time. Great video Tim you kill it as always. 👍👏🙌

Hello Tim, I was at this very hotel early in the year during August. and nothing in the fridge was sensored to my knowing. We were on the ground floor villas. It was lovely.

Hi Tim. I prefer the Ritz hotel rather than the Hard Rock hotel. Both are good in the rooms but the outside is a whole lot better at the Ritz also it seems quieter.

Wow Tim! What a truly amazing hotel. Now that's a proper and quality 5 * deluxe hotel compared to the really disappointing Plaza hotel in New York which you also reviewed recently. One night would not be enough there but at those high rates i certainly could not afford a full week. Very smart that the free drinks run out before the restaurants open in the evening. Top class destination without a doubt.

When I lived in Tenerife there were just two 5 star hotels in the south, the first was the Arona Gran in Los Cristianos, which was amazing as it had its own private beach and the reception was like a rainforest with all these canary birds flying around! The other was the Bahia El Duque, and I got to go there once as I had a friend whose family part owned it, my one memory was the amazing roof top infinity pool and us getting kicked out of it at like 6 in the morning after being in it all night drinking!

San Diego country has a beautiful resort, Rancho Valencia, out in Rancho Santa Fe. I have been there 3-4 times and the resort is private, gorgeous and the rooms are much, much nicer than what you stayed in. Put this location on your travel list. Great video once again. Cheers!

I really love everything about this resort. I would be willing to overlook the very two minor flaws - the wall plate and the toilet flush. I would need a few days here to enjoy everything the hotel has to offer. I think it's quite a good value for the price especially considering you get the beverages included for a good portion of the day. This video has made me want to visit here.

Yes I love a bidet. When I went on my honeymoon at the Paris hotel in Las Vegas is where I was first introduced to the bidet, and I loved it, and my husband loved it! Never felt so clean! lol Hard to believe that was 20 years ago already. Love your videos.

Talking of bidets; I went to Rhodes when I was 14 in 2001 with my parents, pre smartphones etc; and once we got there, my mum broke the news about where to put 'used loo roll' (In a bag next to the loo which still flushed'. I thought she was having me on big time and ignored her. After returning, and reading the fact I was mortified! Which leads me to this point. I've not been to Greece since, and never used a Bidet either but if I do return to Greece/Greek Island; a Bidet is definitely an imperative prerequisite! Great content as always Tim!

Looks absolutely beautiful and the view is brilliant, I could quite happily sit on the balcony and watch the sunset. The food looked absolutely delish. Looks like the golf buggy was definitely needed to get around. Definitely agree that it would be best if could check in earlier.

Went to that beach in September it was lovely the steps were hard lol. We weren't allowed use the lift as we were not staying in the hotel but worth a visit not too busy 😮

I love you spend a fortune to stay in a luxury resort and the best thing was the cheap buggy lol. I looked at this hotel when I was in Tenerife, but aside from the cost, it was so far out that it lost a lot of it's appeal. I don't want to have to take a taxi just to go anywhere. It's nice to be able to walk out of the resort and have a look around whenever you like, and it seems you'd lose that at this particular hotel.

Finally I get to see a video of a real 5 star luxury hotel although it is still rustic and semi modern with the globes lights in the bedroom. A great tub, a great soft showerhead to make one feel as if one is in a rainforest under the waterfall's midst. The closet doors are done in such a light wood and so clean as well as the windows from the sunken bathtub. It is not all luxurious opulence like one would see In Italy, UK, France. It is more the Canary Islands in the west coast of Africa on the Atlantic Ocean. A different vibe. Excellent peaceful, quiet, relaxionational, super immaculately clean as should be. Great that you can have Cava/Freixenet which is similar to champagne all day long by the pool or on the chaise lounge by the beach and sparkling water or spring water. Is there a gym/spa and tennis courts, coffee shop, gift shop, are there many boutiques or just the one that you showed on this video in case you want to buy some summer linens/cottons. I suppose there is a concierge to assist with reservations for the Michelin star restaurants and travel into town. Is there courtesy taxi service/limousine to and from the airport or is it a shuttle bus from the hotel which picks you up. Note: The wine bottle in your room was that a welcoming gift for you? Why was the tea kettle looking so dirty or just heavily stained? Thanks for sharing a great vacation getaway.

Reminds me of a short stay we had in the 5* H10 in Gran Canaria, the fit & finish of the rooms were perfect. Food was exceptional, constant events & activities through the day & all free. A few months after we went to a more expensive Hotel in New York & were shocked by how bad the Hotel was. The reception was impressive (I am sure I had seen it in a few Movies) everything else about the Hotel was dated, worn & unclean. The included Breakfast was inadequate & a con. Love the video, it brings back good memories.

This year was certainly the year of the gleaming white cotton or linen shorts. I have about a dozen pairs, Makes the colour of your t or polo shirts really pop. Too many lads wore black underpants on underneath though.

Hi Tim the hotel in Tenerife looked great. I use to go to Tenerife about three times a year years ago but went to Purto de la Cruz its all changed by the looks of things. Dont think you get your moneys worth if you cant check in till 4pm. Thank you anyway loved the vlog.

min 6:30 - ofcourse I use a bidet. Without a bidet I can't live anymore, its a must for daily living since each time a go to bath I was myself, aren't we all do it?
