Man early 90s and late 80s animes were in a class of their own. A good deal of them may have had bad english dubbing or had nonsensical plots (most likely to either poor english translations, or just plain bad writing in general or just an anime not getting more than 1, or 2 or maybe three episodes due to low popularity or something). But they all had their own unique charms and most of them are worth watching at least once.

Dear Uploader, THANKS SO MUCH, This means the world!! I DL'd this one, and will be streaming it over to my old tube TV (HDMI to RCA converter)... Now thanks to you I don't have to use my VHS copy anymore (which is basically... fragile at this point...) I'm living in Japan now and every once in a while, cels from this anime pop up on auction sites, for cheap... I've got 4 framed and posted up baby! By the way, I think a factory wrapped VS of this dub is still up on ebay if you care to spend the $30 US plus shipping... Anyways thanks again!!!!

@@ZeonicFreak I love Sol Bianca as well, and the versions of Roundtrip and Grandeur of View in the dub are lovely- probably on par with the Japanese version. And well, I got on the Sol Bianca hype train when I saw Sol Bianca: The Legacy.

Tiffany Grant is always such a joy in these dubs. I always forget the VA's name, but the ADV dub Ritsuko delivers another solid job and tons of personality. ADV; they may not have been anywhere near perfect, but God damn did they deliver personality!

Love this movie so much, but also those trailers at the beginning are wonderful. As immensely cheesy as GunHed was, its still one of my favorite old films. Especially as it was done with model work and live action, not animated. As for Sol Bianca itself, the initial Sol Bianca assault on the cargo ship and the orbital sniping scene stand out strongest. Loved the art style and weapons effects.

holy fuck thank you... ive been trying ta find this for years... i first saw this in maybe 2001 on that satellite channel called i think STARS ACTION, where they would play like 3 hours in primetime on Saturday nights anime... i had just re - started my anime obsession after trying to be normal for a few yrs... i would tape everything around me anime wise which meant just Adult Swim / Toonami, Tech Tv's Anime Unleashed, previously mentioned every saturday, and what tapes i could rent or borrow and duplicate myself... but this film was one of the first i got and then over the years i lost and could never find again... THE MUSIC is top notch, especially in the execution arena scene...

The second episode of Sol Bianca OVA ended with a cliffhanger so it was going to have more episodes but never happen probably due to low VHS sales which it run out money.

Nope, went nowhere. It was primarily a tie-in for a video game. The video didn't do well and the game went away, so the storyline in this video was abandoned. They tried another storyline in Legacy.
