I dont think she "squat" her legs. Her body goes backwards in the middle. Binding her knees and pushi g her knees to front of body. The wheel is for compression. But it also leaves extra space behid at this level.

Well, no, it isn't explained. It doesn't matter if she is squatting - the compression goes up through where her torso is and you can see all the way through. I can only imagine she must be being tilted.
